@Nightmare1066 in all honestly, ive had no problems what so ever with scaling om my 580's, is it a better Price/Performance? yes ati beats Nvidia in that, but performance wise? i doubt it, the 580's are beast my friend

Thats not completely true, depending on the motherboard some like mine has a feature called hybrid crossfire where you can use onboard and a discrete. I do that with my sapphire 6870 and my onboard which is a 4250 and i get around a 20% boost in performance.

If you put a 580 with a dedicated physx card, you'd get the same performance. I wouldn't count this test as real because It's not the actual CPU doing the work along side with the 6870s, it's nvidia helping the CPU.

The 1.04ff installs a file called hackfile. Which was caught bye my security. Mabey thats the file but im not risking it. My dual 6850s work fine and as they say. " If its not broken dont fix it. Too many forums with negative things to say. And I went to many, many forums. I did try this set up. but stopped at the hackfile. This is not even a current Nvidia driver. And this mod may not be supported bye the latest Nvidia drivers. His last Mod update was mid 2010. correct me if im wrong.

This is just what i was looking for. I have 2 xfx 6850s in crossfire on an Sabertooth x58 MOBO. Im about 1 or 2 cms short The power supply is just a tad to high and I cant get the BFG 9800gtx card in there. But ill find a way. Do you know if theres an aftermarket fan that will slim it up a bit? Or any suggestions for that matter?

now that is really true.

you can get 2 GTX 560 for the same price as a GTX 580 but it gets like 40% better
