The music that plays when he enters the record store is a moog synthesized version of Beethoven's ninth symphony by the film's soundtrack composer Wendy Carlos, then know as Walter Carlos. Where the book was dark, foreboding, atmospheric and meaningfull the film seemed to just become silly and humorous. although i did prefere the costumes of the film and the fact that they left out the last chapter. Plus Malcolm Mcdowell was great in this.
