WoW this is so true about why is Second Life going down the drain,Also this is some of the main reasons why i am leaving Second Life and going back to EQII
@observer345 Yes, much of this video is based on mine and others real life experiences in Second Life. Some have shed tears over losing quite a bit of money, time, and created content.
Some have contacted me and said that got a laugh from this though, and there is an important lesson in that fact. Cry at loss, but move on and grow.
2011 will be the year Linden attempts to undercut retailers and push content sales to their XStreet system. Linden earn big money from that. The story continues..
@rvkan A simple "don't feed the troll" strategy worked for me. She commented in my Fiasco article, I didn't reply, nobody else did, and that was it. Breen's titling is too funny, of course...
@rvkan I do feel like someone waiting on death row :) The underlying meaning I had in mind was that Hitler was prone to making false accusations to those he did not agree with. The inspiration for that part comes from the Seinfeld Episode "The Soup Nazi". When the Soup Nazi's store closes he "goes to Argentina". Subtle meanings underneath.
@ZonjaCapalini A fair chunk of the video is dedicated to the OpenSpace saga, and hence the content is sourced from your writings(That 66% is correct I hope!! :). The intention of this video is also sourced from yours and a few other blogs. While the video seems irreverent or trivial, its foundation lies on some fairly powerful writing. It is heartening to see people go on to create such striking work in Opensimulator. And your work is some of the most striking examples of Opensim as a media.
@breebw You're too kind :-) My comment was posted before you added the detailed description to the video. If people had not donated fantastic stuff for Condensation (your own Gasworks, and lately Omurtag's incredible islands), I'd have had little to film.
Re the video: I've watched it several times, the part that sticks more to my mind is when it reads "I see it all now. We trusted the visionary, and fell into his honey trap". How sadly true, how sadly true...

Good job. Sadly a little too close to the truth to be truly funny.
