  • Stupid video!

  • Put it in 4WD, Engage diff lock. Enjoy your freedom.

  • That Tahoe isn't even an offroad ready vehicle.

  • Oh wow... I DO NOT want to be in the same roads with her... She's has clueless as a pebble rock.

  • WoW .. Portable kitchen!

  • @rock43100 Why would you drive in loose terrain in a 2wd-only vehicle anyway? Just my question.

  • @XGNRambo There are people who try to do that, and this is why we strongly urge our guests to be sure they have 4WD...and to lower their tire pressure.

  • It would be easyer to get stuck in that water

  • ill get u stuck

  • So 4wd can get you unstuck? Who knew? huh!

  • TOTO

  • get stuck in sand in 4wd?

    nope

  • What happens if you dont have 4WD

  • @rock43100 If you don't have 4wd youre not allowed on the beach

  • o you can get stuck

  • This why you don't buy used!

  • brake stand will get you stuck fast

  • if you want to get stuck get a car thats a truck its not made to get stuck

  • you'r best bet if your trying to get stuck is turn the front wheels all the way in either direction and then press down on the brake a little and gas it up

  • silly

  • What if I don't have car and no money, but I want to get stuck on the beach in my car

  • The most important thing is not let the wheels hanging, in other words dont get stuck by let the car hung up and the wheels keep spining.

  • lol stupid chevy,....go Ford

  • I have this model; the 4WD LTZ with the 20 inch wheels. You've shown me that up here on Long Beach Island in New Jersey with sand that's nearly the consistency of what you encountered that I should be okay if I deflate the tires to around 18 psi and start out with 4WD. By the way, the lady driver in this video shows admirable composure. Thank you for placing this video on YouTube.

  • you have to drive like your boggin

  • this looks like a chevy commercial lol

  • what if you get stuck when u;re already on 4WD ?

  • @hashemalain Best thing to do is be sure you're aired down. We recommend 18-20 psi. You can drop them even lower if you need to. The best thing to do is try and back out once you're aired down well. Usually you can back right out of the hole you're starting to dig.

  • @hashemalain then you shouldn't drive on the beach again

  • acura mdx is better u should by one

  • what if we dont have 4 wheel drive dumbazz

  • @luhtweety123 If you don't have 4WD, I wouldn't recommend driving on the beach.

  • @TwiddyOuterBanks What if its a pre-runner??? What drivers training do you have to give the public this information?

  • drive in a sandy terrain?...NEVER & EVER stop unless your 100% that its a hard ground

  • @badxmax same with heavy & Icy snow.

  • @luhtweety123 who r u calling a dumbass. they just showed how u get out in 2wd drive. now who's the dumbass

  • @luhtweety123 y did u have to be so rude about the question

  • @luhtweety123 buy some BFG All Terrains

  • @bertman668 but those tires are among the ugliest tires ever made and plus the trad in them chips way to easy

  • @luhtweety123 take a shovel and dig your way out of it :)..don't have a shovel? used your hand, it will take a while but it should do the job

  • Like that Tahoe.

  • the least informative informational video of all-time

  • why cant you... cause its a chevy

  • try that in the soft sand on the north end of Carolina beach.

  • brake + hit the paddle, there ya go

  • LOL at 0:10 that made me laugh so hard.

  • just wanted to give shot out to the OUTER BANKS.......IN FL NOW BUT WAS RAISED WITH IN N.C. WHOOP WHOOP TO THE OBX!

  • Love these videos. They are for learning and only morons give them thumbs down.

  • @consaka1 These type videos are great yes... but they get stuck in 2wd throw it into 4wd and they get out by just being easy. Not really that helpful just more or less what you should when your stuck any way.

  • just do a little burn out. hold the break and dig with the tires a bit.

  • if you want to get stuck take a car there and then you will get stuck

  • the ford is not good chevrolet is aowesom

  • or just don't drive on the beach?

  • oorrrrrr just get a ford

  • Beach towels, lay them out in a row in front of the drive tires. potatoe sacks work the best thought.

  • you picked the wrong vehical to do this in. these tahoes have a factory locking rear diff which is a big help in these situations. you should of got a jeep jk to do this it would of buried one rear tire real fast.

  • It shouldn't :P

  • you cant get stuck because its a chevy!!!

  • At least there is something that worth watching this video... The woman! =D

  • I used to drive my IH Travelall 4x4 there on weekends all time back in the early- mid 80s. I now live in Atlanta area, and stil drive the same truck. It does great in sand, yes Ive had it stuck before, I just dig it out and im on my way. I miss going there. I was allot of fun. Its lifted about 6 inches on suspension, so i can get under it in case it gets buryed in sand. makes it easyer to dig out.

  • what brand truck you have has notthing to do with if it'll get stuck or not. i cant believe there are grown adults who still believe this. ITS ALL ABOUT THE DRIVER

  • my dad has his jeep at 20 with nitto dune grapplers nd his truck f-350 with the 7.3 at 15 with bf goodrich mud terain tires the 10 ply sidewall even at 15 the barley ballon out

  • For all you Saying you can't get a chevy stuck are really dummies. My buddy was using his chevy 2500 4wd to pull my f250 up a sand incline and he got his truck stuck within seconds. So I had to back up and yank him right out. So i pretty much got myself out. You can get anything stuck on dunes if you don't know how to drive in them.

  • 2:26 easy >_<

  • what if you dont have 4x4

  • Outer Banks is tight i hella miss it. and um first of all dont get stuck in the first place just pin it haha. n if yu get stuck air down, digg it out behind the wheels then back upp. n then go forword. if that dont work use the parking brake turn it on putt the truck in drive push the gass til yu feel it wanna go then take the parking brake off dont lett off th gas tho n ur out its really not hard!!!!!

  • you dit air down the tires and learn who drive the 4x4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i dont think half the people commenting on this realize she was trying to get stuck in 2 wheel drive....

  • @blam7 actually no ford and Chevys WON'T get stuck.

    FACT

  • If you get stuck and cant get out call a wrecker

  • !! such a Beautiful advertisment for chevrollet . either way chevy deserve it

  • Um, if my jeep gets stuck will she pull me out? If so...I'll work all day digging to get stuck.

  • This vehicle is designed NOT to get stuck what a stupid video.

  • How not to get stuck, buy a better 4x4.

  • TRy in Vietnam's mud and get out from that luxury heavy American....

Call Toyota or Land Rover for help..MUST REMEMBER THIS! I got experience with Vietnam's mud because I'm from there.

  • Buy better tires and a decent beach truck, dummy.

  • the reason backing out is so much easier is cause its lower gear ...lol cute video

  • Was that a how to get stuck and unstuck with a 4x4 lesson?

  • All you need is some really nice mattracks on that tahoe

  • WHAT IF YOU DONT HAVE 2WD???

  • friggen 4 inches of sand thats why it wouldnt get stuck

  • Now it's time to go to Moab,UT and try to get stuck. Its much more fun.

  • It has nothing to do if it's a Chevy, ford,Dodge or Toyota. All brand trucks can get stuck.

  • Wouldn't get stuck cause it's a Chevy LOL

  • @devilxdude Stock LTZ trim tahoe's come with the 3.73 gears and a G80 Rear Locker I have never got mine stuck.

  • I use to treat my Z71 into the UAE desert, was lot of fun!!!

With floating down the tires up to 1bar (think it was 100psi) the chevy was almost unbeatable.

  • but if you get stuck with the driver, you cant never get out.... :-) jk

  • gas + brake= stuck

  • Most important thing you said was don't floor it. Sand, snow, ice, or whatever. Once you break traction you increase chances of getting stuck. My Dad taught me more about driving than any driver's ed class about upper midwest winter driving. I drive semi and have gotten that out of a pickle or two.

  • turn traction control off..

  • i heard some one say car ITS A TRUCK

  • @rcdude34 no it's not.

trucks are for wheeling. this here Tahoe is for trips to the mall and driving the kids to soccer practice.

  • find some drive sand

  • you know why you couldnt get stuck? kus your in a tahoe duh there the best thing ever

  • Turn the traction control off and youll get stuck easy...

  • go down to the point and you will have no proplom getting stuck.lol

  • use a dodge truck and then you will get stuck....don't use chevy to get stuck cuz you never will

  • it took so long for it to get stuck because it is a chevy ha

  • @mnsnocross if it was a dodge or maby a ford it for sure would of gotten stuck even in 4 low

  • Thats a Chevy for ya! haha-------btw no need for negative comments, i prefer chevys, which makes it my personal preference, and if you dont like that then keep your idiotic comments to yourself!

  • haha you cant cuz its a chevy

  • of course but a wonderfull tips will be what can you do if you get stuck with a 2wd (fwd or rwd) ^^.

  • What you should do is have that girl get out and push..hahahahaha

  • one big reason for not getting stuck was probably because you were closer to the water, so the sand is more damp. up higher where there's dry sand and you would have no trouble getting stuck.

  • Can't even get a tahoe stuck when you want to, and I don't know about you guys, but I didn't see hardly any tire spin in 4 wheel drive.

  • its a chevy you cant get stuck..

  • *it's a Chevy, so you get stuck easier..

  • @yuskjr ohh, thats funny because it didnt get stuck till she tried and, when it did,it was going up hill in 2wd...chevy ftw

  • @yuskjr Good fix.

  • what also help you not get stuck was the rear locker. if one wheel spins the other wheel locks and it pushes you out. most chevy trucks and suvs have it. limited slip cant

  • what help you not get is stuck was the rear locker. most chevy vehicles come with a rear locker if one wheel slips the other wheel locks. limited slip doesnt do that.

  • @ojtrev061589 ha ha ya that locker helped when we got out in a 3/4 ton crew at highway pressure....oh ya and 2WD!!! CHEVY POWER !!

  • pretty girl

  • you are attempting the impossible you are driving a chevy you cant get stuck

  • Ha. Cool vid. Just word to the wise, if you have any notion that you MIGHT get stuck you would wanna lock it in 4hi before you get into a greasy situation... If you're already stuck and try to lock it in... then sometimes them two front wheels wont do you no good. Atleast that's the way Western PA boys are taught. We don't got sand so might be a different game down there.

  • Maybe try some sand instead of packed dirt?

  • What if you get stuck? flag down the nearest Jeep and politely ask the owner to pull you out.

  • @domeslacker Yeah - that happened to me about the same time you posted this! ;) Got a vid (just one pic in it after i got him out).

  • @domeslacker .lol yeah brother politely ask us and we would be happy towing chevs, ford or even our friends ....dodges.!!!!

  • nice chevy

  • u should have used a ford

  • CHEVY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • how bad do vehicles rust after driving on the beach?

  • @XxClemsonTigersXx that depends on whether or not you get the salt water on your car and where you got it. also there wont be a problem if you hose your car down real good when you get back home or anywhere with a hose. but you wont notice any massive differences unless you regularly drive on the beach for a few years

  • @SCTIMBER air down further to 14 psi, bust out the shovels and dig the loose sand, pour water on the sand underneath the tires, get out and push the vehicle while driver gives it gas,use maxtraxx--if you got em',rock the vehicle back and forth, straighten out the front wheels, and if all that fails....offer a couple of beers from your ice chest to the big truck with a rope...that WILL get you out!!

  • this vid would be more interesting if you offered tips on how to drive on sand in a 2wd vehicle...i do it all the time, but always looking for more ideas/tips/tricks.

  • Hmm get 4x4

  • thats cuz you in a chevy =)

  • did u air down the tires?

  • Yes, the tire pressure was let down. We usually recommend letting your pressure down to 18-25 pounds. It makes a world of difference.

  • @TwiddyOuterBanks that's right man also when we used to go Saudia Arabia in desert or mountain we make the tiers down a little bit so we can drive more easily

  • @TwiddyOuterBanks Lol I always run 28psi.

    31/10.5r15's.

  • @TwiddyOuterBanks I always wonder why ppl recommend airing down the tires during offroad situation (maybe just sand but not mud and etc...) doesn't airing down the tire gives u lower ground clearance and worse mileage? so why do ppl air down tires from driving on sand???

  • @TwiddyOuterBanks and does each vehicle pressure needs to be differ when airing down tire pressure?

  • the driver (she) is a beautiful girl.....i love you from costa rica...luis

  • your not getting stuck because its a chevy! go chevy!

  • not to mention the traction control on those tahoes and suburbans are really good chevy did somthing right there

  • they had to considering how much they weigh.

  • Nice video! I was down driving on that beach this summer! Love it down there. I have a 2005 ford f250 that I drove down from PA and had no problems on the sand. Didn't even lower the tire pressure. I do have 35' BFG A/T 's and have been 4wheeling a long time.

  • but what if your stuck in 4 wheel drive

  • then 4 lo, 1st gear, hammer down!... if that is a no go after about 5 seconds then go find another rig to give you a pull

  • @lantonben then hope someones around to pull you out OR get out and push lol

  • @lantonben and with air pressure lowered?

    Hmmm..

  • @lantonben start diggin....

  • @350vroom exactly, carry a shovel in the car or truck, i always do in winter if i get stuck but my Suburban 4x4 with new tires never gets stuck, i'm like them i would have to put it in 2WD and try to get stuck, i'm the guy with a chain who pulls people out of ditches

  • @lantonben call a tow truck

  • @BADASSED88 tow trucks cost lots of money. I'd say if a car's stuck, have some flat pieces of wood ready to support a car jack on the sand, raise up each end and fill where the tire was sunk in, then use wood for the car to ride on to get out.. maybe wood with rough sand paper stapled to it for traction or something like that?

Or, just let a pickup truck pull u out. That's what happened with my Civic on the beach in Oregon yesterday

  • A manual vehicle would be better for that.

  • You should have had her powerbrake it, it would have buried down real quick!

  • Trying to take it easy on the company vehicle. You should see our other vehicle, Buk Nsty.

  • @TwiddyOuterBanks The Reason that she couldnt get stuck is because in the LTZ a G80 Rear Locking differential locks the rear wheels to turn at the same rate... check out the vids on it type in G80 locker

  • @TwiddyOuterBanks How can I??????

  • @cfltitan or take that little pedal on the right and put it to the floor, just hold it there for a bit lol

  • yea its a chevy. it wont get stuck. hey go get a new ford F-150!!!! ha

  • is she driving barefoot ?

  • Hey Girl Awesome Job Spinning the Tires!! :D :D hahaha....Please Continue with the Instructional Vids..haha..Very Helpful....
