@SyntheNeko i play AD&D 2.nd and we took the story of the bhaal spawn and his crusade to the drows in our campaign! We TOOK revenge! I played a Level 14 Berserk and killed the dark queen of Menzoberanzan.

@Unreal849 Baldur's Gate II was released in 2000. I know what you mean, though. That time frame of 1995 to 2002 was an unrivaled golden age for WRPGs. Shame what the genre has fallen to today.

@woodwyrm Dragon Age origins WAS great IF BioWare didnt ruin it with multiple add on and come out with the crap DA2, it made me feel hero in DA was screw, imagine Leliana sneak up in DA2 when She is suppose to be my romance in DA:( NWN2 was great but it piss me when all those friends i really care died and MOB should be made as isolated title, because i still hold my romance in NWN2

I still hold that Viconia's romance when playing a good male character is simply the best writing Bioware has ever done in all of their videogames.

It's such a bittersweet tale about hwo two complete opposites with everything in the world against them, somehow find a way to share common ground. It brings a tear to my eye each time I hear it.

@1111myname Oh, I don't know. Mass Effect (both of them) has some nifty tracks, as does Dragon Age. KotOR games also had very nice original Star Wars style tracks.

However, these games do not Baldur's Gate 2 be. Part of what makes these tracks so great is our emotional attachement to them after associating them with one of the greatest gaming and storytelling experiences ever. So, part nostalgia tripping, part rightful appreciation of music. Whatever our reasons, the music is truly enjoyable.
