Its funny that at 1:18 when Julianne and Derek go to that couple to get a kiss that the woman gives Derek a quick peck on the cheek and then she pulls away when he leans into her.

But when Julianne asks for a kiss, the guy has no problem laying a fat one on her cheek and then never hesitates to keep his face right next to hers until she gets up off the chair. Lucky bastard! I bet he was taking a nice long sniff of her right there. :p

I disagree. In my opinion, I think it's used well here as a "surprise entrance" mechanism for Julianne. When he opens the lid and she's not there, and then closes it and she is, it makes a dramatic effect worth the minor inelegance.
