These trains leave from Grand Central and go to White Plains on the Harlem Line and Croton - Harmon on the Hudson Line. They also have the same trains on the Long Island Railroad, leaving from Penn Station, going to places such as Far Rockaway, Hempstead, Huntington, Babylon, Ronkankoma and Huntington via Jamaica, Queens
One thing I noticed about the M-7's on the Metro North is that it has this little extra piece on top of it's cars, at the ending part. I noticed that all Metro North equipment has a little something extra on their trains than the LIRR which runs the same type of equipment. I wonder why that is.
with the economy down if it keeps up things are going to go back to the way it use to be

Also, 10 minutes before Grand Central is Harlem-125th Street for Metro North and for the LIRR, woodside is 10 minutes away from Penn Station.

Possibly a pantograph for working on the line to New Haven, which is electrified using overhead catenary instead of third rail.

They use similar trains on the metro-north, so it is the metro-north railroad which stops at Harlem before Grand Central Terminal.
