  • my childhood wouldn't be the same if this song were not included in it...simple as that...an all time and forever favorite....~~~~~Thank you!!! Much Luv!

  • life would be better today if there was a law that stated all music had to be written in 70s style, with a minimum of fake ass synthesizers, and whiny pants lyrics. man, music today SUCKS!! soooo glad i was born in 69, just made it into the good era. 70s rule.

  • Nostalgia.

  • Reminds me of the summer I worked up at Hampton Beach NH.

  • It is still a pretty popular song, even if it is 40 years old. A classic summer song.

  • This song brings me back to the days when we had a house/cabin my father built up at Sturbridge Village, in Massachusetts, and the summers we'd spend at the lake.......I will never forget the girl i met there.....We never communicated during the rest of the year, but we always seemed to meet up every summer.

  • I've seen myself in the video o.O

  • Dazed and Confused (:

  • Summer Breeze makes me feel fine

See the paper laying of the sidewalk

A little music from the house next door

  • @jvc generation gap aside, LOL, there was the hand-held gameboy electronics game (usually football) or ping pong, and of course, pacman.

the walkman arrived in my teens in the late 70s, though it really took off in the 80s

  • @jvcdude lol! in the 70s, we played outside:climbed trees, rode our bikes for hours--we practically lived on our bikes (w banana seats) n the summer, played badminton, had crab-apple fights, walked around town, went swimming, listened to music on transistor radios, records, 8-track tapes, & later the cassette. we also played ring & run sometimes.-ring a door bell & run like hell!

    it was a different time.

  • This song is the best song ever made, in the history of the world. Period.

  • @JCVdude is this the actual video or just some of your clips you compiled

  • @jaegood89 my clips

  • @JCVdude - great compilation dude!

  • @JCVdude Where are the clips taken. I'm guessing east coast somewhere, but...

  • @JCVdude What year did u record these clips!

  • @PoetikJunkie1 all from 2009 when I uploaded the video.

  • @JCVdude haha might of been the song or the tone but I coulda sworn they looked older.

  • @JCVdude really nicely done!

  • How I Met Your Mother

  • SUMMER BREEZEEEEE!!!!! MAKES ME FEEL FINEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -fade out-

  • Type O Negative's version rules!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This song is the best. Thanx for posting this. And about the Kardashians, that stupid marriage was done for the cameras. And in next summer's movie The Dictator with Sasha Baron Cohen, there is a very funny joke about the Kardashians because they deserve it. But back to the song, Seals and Croft were the best. Like hearing this song again.

  • Am I the only one who when first hearing this on the radio, thought this was Phil Collins?

  • @Gununderman

Sadly, yes, you were the only one. But you have great taste ;)

  • Comment removed

  • @bucketheadistheman How do I have great taste?

  • people who love seals and crofts kind of music have taste.

  • Summer breeze DOES make me feel fine when there is "jasmine" blowin' through my mind ;)

  • love your work

  • By the way, good song. This takes me back a while.

  • @Sonnyerikson90 yeah the 70s were awesome to grow up in! this song brings back memories of a group of us bike riding miles (even in town) playing badminton, climbing trees, & just having fun.

when i want a lift or in the dark winter, i play this song & my mind goes back in time!

  • @canadianskye1964 Actually, this must have been in the mid 90's when I was still a little kid riding with my parents, got into a lot of rock; Santana, Pink Floyd, Train, etc., and it also became a gateway to some jazz.

  • @canadianskye1964 I can still remember feeling glazed over as I listened to this song on a warm summer.

  • @Sonnyerikson90 the summer of '72 was awesome, well except when i got bucked off a horse & had a mild concussion. or when i fell off a swing & broke my elbow/diiscolated my elbow LOL

still it was a very sweet summer and this song always brings back good memories.

ah, the '70s those were the days, my friend,

  • @canadianskye1964 what!!! no video games, how did you survive?

  • Why is there a link to a tarantula video? YOU COULD GIVE SOMEBODY A HEART ATTACK!

  • This song brings back so many wonderful childhood memories....

  • GREAT SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • im in middle school and im sad to say nobody at my school knows who this is but dont worry some of us know good music when we hear it ROCK AND ROLL WILL NEVER DIE!!!

  • Lovely colours in your video.

    Lovely song too.

  • This takes me back to me at 15 years old, lying on the beach with my panasonic ball radio...

  • Haha I'm 17 in 2011 and I love this song so much... I thank my parents and grandparents for makin me grow up with this music

  • Summer breeze makes me feel fine. Winter breeze makes me feel like crap. From the Great White North.

  • damn i miss summer already...

  • 2:55 noticed! haha

  • holy shoot. I miss summer now and it's the first of damn december

  • Im almost 50,I can still smell the reefer,Cruising around in my 1971 Chevelle SS,with this sound streaming out of my craig stereo cassette player,.just awesome.

  • @MTD45 dont you mean 8 track....in 71

  • @TheShasim You may be right,Ive smoked a lot of reefer since then, lol.Brain cell"s burnt.

  • Those days of cruising the beach looking at the girls listening to this song as it played on the radio....you find a place to park, walk down to the water and holding her hand you say I love you. You smell her sweet perfume. You get lost in her eyes..you don't care whose watching, you kiss her passionately...your heart flutters.......damn I miss those days

  • I'm in my mid 50's now... so happy about that! As far as the 70's are concerned I can only say one thing... "YOU HAD TO BE THERE!"

This song brings it all back to me... so close I can smell the padmini, patchouli and pot!

Joni's 'Free Man in Paris' does it for me too!

  • this was mine and my honeys song and 38 years later it still does it...

  • At the time I wished this for me & my girlfriend Margie. Sadley it never happened. I still love this song but oh how I wished it had happened. True love has eluded me big time.

  • @ChestersVideos i know, i was born then too....tail end of the millenium we missed everything didn't lmao

  • A great song but it was not No.1 as it peaked at #6 on Billboard hot 100 1972. I wish it was a number one song.

  • Great fiddle players

  • wow.. feel like a kid again.....man i missed those days when mainstream radio played this music

  • Summer girl make me feel fine. You're always in the corner of my mind...Kenny Hickey lying on the sidewalk. Devil music from the house next door...

  • I made a cross-country trip in my Volkswagen car in 1973.I had my radio and

cassette tape deck and listened to this great song a hundred times on that

great trip.I drove from Piedmont,California to Washington DC on the original

Route 66 and then back."Summer-Breeze" is probably my favorite folk-rock

    song of all-time.What great words,such a sweet,sweet melody,and great

singing!!! This song elevates your spirits every time you listen to it!!! "I Want

    Yo' Number."

  • @loungerenownrecords Love reading comments of people who experienced this and many other great songs in there time. I wish i could go back in time with you all to see what it was like ... seriously :/

  • @loungerenownrecords Sounds like a wonderful trip! ...A 'journey of discovery'? I sure would like to have joined you. (Too bad I was only 4-years-old at the time!)

  • @loungerenownrecords 66 has never gone to dc. it only went to Chicago.

  • the best theme of the all time♥

  • Hey JCV ,, i love the Video clips... even though im a Die Hard Bruins fan

  • ive been singing "summer breeze, makes me feel fine" for the longest time without really knowing which song it was. NOW I KNOW

  • I remember being in the car when i was 4 or 5 years old and my dad would listen to the oldies. I didn't know what any of those songs meant but i liked em. This was back in the 2000.

  • Just thinking, if some stranger saw you just filming those bikini girls and didn't know it was for a video, he would think your a pervert! :P Great video, and awesome song!

  • Ted probably watch this video very often. Hi TED !!

  • Ted's Favourite Song At How I Met Your Mother ! S1 E7

  • I love this song it makes me feel happy

  • I'm curious. Is this Penticton, British Columbia, Canada? I was there this past summer and it was awesome!

  • @hockeyman9128 close, Kelowna BC

  • @JCVdude I love Kelowna. SO beautiful down there

  • I've got to thank "The land of the lost" for introducing me to this.

  • Growing up as a kid of the 70's on the Jersey Shore, what a great time to be alive!

  • Remembering Kelowna...summer 1997...thanks for posting.

  • Good song, Love the 70's! Born in the 70's I find I am lucky to have grown up with not only this music but also the 50's-90's stuff. All the rest SUCKS BIG TIME... Kardashians?????????? WHO ARE THEY???????????? LOSERS!!!!!!!!

  • @goldmandan1 don't pick on poor Kim, she's getting divorced, the marriage just didn't work out. Go figure with all the PR around the wedding, it just seemed like a fairy tale. :)

  • @JCVdude

    I hope that was sarcasim

  • @JCVdude Blah blah blah... kardashians, blah. I'm sick and tired of hearing about that whore Kardashian. Even I have standards where famous people are concerned. Only thing exciting she ever did was fuck Ray-J, and I don't even know who HE is, but apparently, the two of them combined (no pun intended) must have been famous enough for the leaking of their sex tape to bring out the hounds. Standards, people, STANDARDS!!

  • @JCVdude Your comment had the equivalent of vomiting at a picnic.

Mind if we enjoy people with actual -talent-?

  • @JCVdude They never loved each other. It was lust and it was also to get media attention

  • @goldmandan1 ahh wait a second....the music of 2010 and 2011 has never been better ! And i think i'm your age. so BOO000000000000000000000000.. buy a RIHANNA CD or a PIT BULL an ENRIQUE CD. Wonderful stuff today. PS. no offense, i loved you comment but I cannot discredit today's sound. IT"S WONDERFUL. And yes I love the older stuff as well. MEOW

  • @ahfaxthis Aye listen to The Isley Brothers version, then listen to Sex Room's instrumental by Trey Songz and see where they got it from, I personally believe The Isley Brothers did better but I can't down the creater without them that musical masterpiece would have never spawned so I credit the S&Cs. Thanks

  • @ahfaxthis then you woke up....

  • @goldmandan1 I'm right there with you, I was born in 1966. Though I was still a bit young, I still remember the classic tv shows and great clothes.

  • High school in the 70's... what a wonderful time! Wish I could go back.

  • Reminds me of a 1972 trip to visit an old flame in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.

    Long ago. Yesterday.

  • I love this song and summer is my favorite time of year.

  • @SuperSourdough glad to know I'm not alone...

  • this song has made me cry since always. I heard it the first time being a child in the 80s. Everytime I hear this song I just can't help it and I start crying. it's not the lyrics, is the melody and his voice... does anybody else feel that way? or I'm the only person in the world crying rivers with this song? :'(

  • @giulice I am with you. You are not alone....

  • True?

    Amazing to be sure...

    :)

  • I remember aged 9. walking into our kitchen as this was playing, in particular the backing vocals at 2.20. This song was played frequently in the summer of 72/73 on our local radio station. Amazing how it can take me back to such a precise moment in time :)

  • @lilynick1 thats pretty cool 40 years later you can still remember, i can still remember the orange kitchen fixtures in our house when i hear this song.. priceless..

  • @mcbain. I think you miss the point. This song and music in general is SUPPOSED to evoke emo. Don't allow the wall to block yourself off from the rest of the world. Smoke a blunt and just let the music sweep over you like a warm summer breeze!

  • summers awesome

  • 1975 senior year Jr Sr Prom. This was the theme song and was like magic. Getting lost on the dance floor in that long blonde hair was heaven. We had the perfect life right in the palm of our hands and I DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH SENSE TO KNOW IT. The next song would be Sad Eyes, then Baby Come Back.............

  • If you ever think life is not worth living...just listen and enjoy....

  • @eqrommel wtf man don't emo it up!

  • i remember my childhood days with this song..My uncle used to play this..

  • I saw Seals and Crofts in July 1978 at the Carowinds Amusement Park Paladium near Charlotte, NC on the NC/SC border.

  • I'm blown away at the exquisite beauty of life so deftly gorgeoused-up by your superb colorizations :-)

You've really distilled the wonder of summer, youth, love and the sunlight of flesh - a gift from God - sure to be present albeit transformed - in the next.

C.S. Lewis ventured that whatever we gave up will have turned out to have been infinitesimally nothing and found in spades - in Heaven. I think he was right.

    WhatChristDid . com

  • WoW........70's memories still fill my mind!

  • Is there any way I can live in this video?

  • WOW, in 72, I was all of 8 happy years of age...... WOW the time FLIES,

LOOOOOVE THIS SONG....... I used to think he said When I come home from a long day's work and you're waiting there without a CARE IN THE WORLD... I used to think he was saying "And You're Waiting There With The Cat On The Walk". I SWEAR I DID.... CRAZY, HUH??

  • my older sister played this all the time...I was a emerson lake and palmer guy but liked it anyways.

  • Sunonthewindow I agree, Taupo, Blue Lakes, all the Bays in NZ Great Times!

  • Nice badonkadonk

  • You people in the Northern Hemisphere don't know how wonderful a summer Christmas is. Family picnics, guitar, pohutakawa trees in full bloom, swimming, giving each other presents, singing Christmas songs down on the beach when the sun goes down.

  • @sunonthewindow Some of us here in Texas do have a bit of a summery Christmas.

  • RIP Peter Steele

  • @Eromulex Type-O did their own version of this which doesn't even compare to this one but Type O has some good shit of their own. "Carnivore" is Peter Steele's band before this.

  • I was learning how to drive in 1972. In our driver's ed course, the teacher put on the radio while we drove. This song came on often. And the roads near our school are hilly and curved. This song always makes me think of driving down those roads, sixteen and carefree.

  • @TheLKJ6 1971 i was learning to drive Great times

  • @TheLKJ6 good memory man, the best ones last the longest i reckon

  • @TheLKJ6 lucky you to be a teen in the 70s. 2000s sucked!

  • see the curtains hanging in the window , :) x

  • Seals and Crofts is Marilyn Mansons favorite band for those of you who didn't know.

  • Oh and another thing love the song hate the video.

  • @LeahJane1995 Can I ask u why u hate the video.

  • @GNUT666 cause he's either an american and jealous, or a race different than white and offended that there's no minority in the video.

  • @GeniusSelfproclaimed i understand never notice that..

  • @GeniusSelfproclaimed Iam making a video for you with this song!!

  • @GNUT666 i'm white and love the video so don't bother.

  • you filmed some really nice asses! way to go!

  • love these guys all thier music is awesome!
