dont run heal toe. its not good. you need to land farther up on your foot like the ball of your foot, then bring your heal down. it gets more spring out of the spring in you tendon. if you run barefoot you naturally do this because of pain avoidance. when you land on your heal barefoot its like a hammer 3x your weight slamming your foot over and over again. when you run farther up on your foot you distribute the shock wave. and its more efficient sooo yeah
if anybody knows any good tips on how not too run out of energy so fast or how not to lose yo breath watever ya call it can u reply too dis an let me no thanks
Wanting to get fit, but not being a fan of running (I get knee and shin splint problems) I thought I'd do some research into how to prevent the injuries. I came across this info and checked out the posetech website. I tried my first "pose" run at the weekend and all I can say is wow. I knocked 2 mins off my previous time for the same run and I was holding back thinking I would tire at the pace I was running, but I felt less tired when I finished the run. Can't wait for my next run this week.

@REY4262 Run barefoot:) its amazing how you can get attached to it, its the human bodies natural way and you will adapt to it. Goodluck

@thoushallreason its because of the way you run when you run barefoot... its more efficient. and its lighter so thats also good.

Been running with Vibrams for a few months now. Very easy for me to adapt to, better form (pose), much more fun besides the occasional rock.
