Ok seriously wolves are not savage killers!! They help control the population of elk and deer. Without wolves there would be too many deer and elk and then they would eat almost all of the vegetation in Yellowstone. And bears are not going to keep controlling deer if they get rid of wolves which will most likely never happen. 1995, 1200 moose in the yellowstone ecosystem. 2010, 114 moose. Will the yellowstone moose survive? Dunno. But, there are moose in other areas of montana, so if they go extinct, no problem. I live in butte montana and i have a 400 acre ranch i have been having problems with wolves wounding my cattle and eating the calves. i have been shooting them on site so far i have killed 12 and there are still probably 50 just on my property alone all of my neighbors are having the same problem. if you dont have anything intelligent to say or you cannot support your facts dont post anything because it make you look like a fool.

The elk are gone, the deer are gone, very few left, the bear are starving, no elk and deer calves for them to eat, bear attacks are way up, trails are almost constently closed. Hi Hal Yellowstone has been closed to hikers several times due to grizzly bears attacking humans. But you know the anti human cult of animal lovers think it is so cool when people are attacked especially children.

Oct 30th Mr.Jenson 4 year old son died daughter injuried. On Oct 30th a dread day for the Parents. They heard the terrifiying screams of their young children. The father armed with a shotgun raced to help. He was to late his 4 year old son was torned to pieces and dead. The pack was now working on his 6 year daughter and he was able to drive them off saving her. She had several scratches and bites on her arms from fighting off the vicous wolves.
Today, Yellowstone visitors can hope for the opportunity to see a wild wolf or at least hear one howling. Although wolf sightings are relatively uncommon in the park, all visitors can enjoy the feeling that comes with knowing that the wolf is once again part of the Yellowstone wilderness that is so precious to us all.

I have been to Yellowstone several times, and I can assure you, if you leave the hustle of the rest of the tourists, you can find good evidence wolves are around; i.e. dead elk. Another good way to observe evidence of wolf presence is the lack of Elk, or other animals.

Without wolves there would be too many deer and elk and then they would eat almost all of the vegetation in Yellowstone. The elk are gone, the deer are gone, very few left, the bear are starving, no elk and deer calves for them to eat, bear attacks are way up, trails are almost constently closed. All because the wolves have killed everything off. The govement hides these facts because they dont want to admit they fucked up by planting the wrong species of wolf in the park.

OMG. I was there in 2007 working at Old Faithful for three months, and I saw at least 40 elk at Old Faithful on a daily basis and thousands through out the rest of the park. And there were too many muleys to count. BTW: I'm an outdoorsman myself.

I would bet those who wrote that statement, have a good understanding of the average person. With that in mind, most people who visit Yellowstone, never leave their vehicle, accept the tourist traps. I have been to Yellowstone several times, and I can assure you, if you leave the hustle of the rest of the tourists, you can find good evidence wolves are around; i.e. dead elk. Another good way to observe evidence of wolf presence is the lack of Elk, or other animals.

The rangers said there was a few, but we didnt see any, and we looked. The goverment hides the wolf attacks on people but they happen quit often, they dont talk about the bear attacks either.
