@96605devil In lion prides the weakest of the lions, be it a cub or a full grown lion or lioness is either killed or run off. If the mother sees her cub as a weak link, she will maul the cub to death. Unfortunate, but apart of nature all the same.

I love that he has such a wonderful relationship with the mother lion that she gently pushes him out of her enclosure, rather than biting him or harming him in any way. They love him, and he respects them, and everything is wonderful. Except for the poor baby lion :(

So...the female of the species there is the more agressive, tends to bite and scratch more then the males and is riskier to be around in case they go off on one.

d cub that d lioness, pelogkhale, movd aside wen she breastfed her cubs was d cub that kevin held during his first visit to peloghkale.Kevin said d lioness was offering her cub to him but i think that's not what she was doing. i think what hapened was that d liones was licking her cub & it rolld close 2 Kevin. & cuz Kevin touchd it. pelogkhale didnt want the baby anymore. ths s simlar wen a newly born duckling is touchd by someone else other than its mother. the duckling ens up killd by its mom
