  • As an old timer,,,listening to METAL since 1970 this is the best heavy metal song by Areosmith

  • Aerosmith rocks fucking rocks the rock of aerosmith.

  • @RKNELIAS Cool album title.I like it.

  • This is Aerosmith's best collection baby! No one beats Black Sabbath's first 5, count them fiiiive releases.

  • My favorite Smith song.Truly an amazing hard rock classic

  • @tommyjoe3553 No, it's an amazing metal classic. xD

  • @Animelloveer nobody beats blk sabbath

  • @ponokareject Yes, Black Sabbath invented heavy metal, but you have to admit that this just may be the heaviest song at it's time. AND Round and Round. 70s Aerosmith is EXTREMELY underrated in the heavy metal community.

  • Milton does a great cover of this. ;-)

  • I grew up in the 70's and saw them play so many times what happened to music like this,Zeppelin,Etc.IDK just saying...

  • straight up fucking Rock! that sounds like one hell of a show DIO opened for MSG in Cali at the Paladium and you could move 5 yrd.s in any direction without moving your feet, or legs for that matter!! HA! good stuff

  • One of my favorite Aerosmith songs. Absolutely insane.

  • you can see some Led Zeppelin influence in this song

  • Sabbath, Zeppelin, Purple, Cream, Hendrix, ZZ Topp, Aerosmith, Floyd, Cactus, Sir Lord Baltimore, Atomic Rooster, Buffalo, Captain Beyond, Alice cooper, Hawkwind, Blue Cheer, Pentagram, Stooges, MC5, Judas Priest, Scorpions, New York Dolls, Uriah Heep, Foghat. That is what I call ROCK!

  • @mikexlong YOU FORGOT Guns N Roses and AC/DC

  • @GNR4Alife I fucking hate guns n roses. ACDCs good but overrated.

  • @mikexlong FUCK YOU! Guns are better than AC/DC fuckin stupid idiot...if you hate them, GO TO HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @GNR4Alife whoaaa calm down buddy, don`t tip over your trailer now.

  • @mikexlong Lol, then what the fuck is wrong with your username?

  • @gnrportugal LOL I dunno, why is the guns n roses fan club going after me on an Aerosmith video? not everybody likes your shitty band, get over it.

  • @mikexlong Hey, calm the fuck down!!! I actualy like aerosmith better then Guns!!

They are not a shitty band, they are great. They are like Aerosmith's baby.

  • the best song in the album...

  • just listend to some of that van halen reunion...haha ha ha no way can they do this it might not be live..but when it is sorry ..smith blows van halen out

  • Classic Aero, keep it cummmmmming,..........

  • great song i'm listening to this tues nite with my 13 yr old son

    al stratford ct.

  • Now i know where Audioslave got the intro for Im A Highway.

  • amen !

  • red lines come and go.....

  • Rocks....Rocks. Heaviest of the Aerosmith pressings. Trains everywhere in Brads supporting role .....strumming the chug onward.

THIS is rock n roll, Ladies and Gents.

  • Love it, makes me want to break some furniture!

  • theire newer later 80's stuff doesn't rock quite as much as this older stuff

  • Was anyone by any chance listening to this song on the east coast as the earthquake hit?

  • My favorite SONG of all time, from my favorite ALBUM of all time, from my favorite BAND of all time. It doesn't get any better than that, now does it?

  • @Animelloveer Everybody says that about their favorite song. The same comment is posted on every song on youtube.

  • @Animelloveer it just might. Nothing can compare with Dream On.

  • @Animelloveer No, It doesn't get any better than this. Even the covers don't do it justice. kinda miss the blues aspect of these guys.

  • @67patfull Me too. They should've tried to stay in that blues-rock heavy sounding format, or just quit. They've soiled their own name, unfortunately, with their recent stuff.

Yeah, the covers can't equate to Steven Tyler's downright vicious voice and Brad's licks on the original. Though the Testament cover isn't that bad, because they are a metal band, and this IS a metal song.....

  • Flat out fuckin' nasty. All the way up to "Done With Mirrors" Smitty the shitty. Don't give me "Dude Looks Like An Elevator..."

  • Saw the Rocks tour with Nazareth . Couldn't hear shit for 3 days . The crowd was pushing against the barrier ( on the floor ) so hard you could lift your feet up and not fall down . Freedom Hall , Loulsville Kentucky . This is the show that they recorded Dream on for the Bootleg album .

  • me love you long time jakie

  • at 0:16 seconds you can hear a door opening in the studio.

  • This is Rock and Roll. Then it ended. Draw the Line

  • @jmac5058 more like "drawld da line" it is what it is commercial sell out to corporate f#@$s.....

  • @jmac5058 I AGREE WITH YOU 110% MAN.

  • 0 faggots

  • @Goodmojoman damm right.peaple know the real shit.

  • back when they really rocked, like a real guitar band, before 1985, before they went to pop cacca

    best records

    Toys in the attic

    Rocks

    Night in the ruts

    Get your wings

    Draw the line

yeh yeh yeh yeh yeh yeh yyaaoohh!

  • @tacomonster98 Dude listen to Done WIth Mirrors. Great guitar album. Pump. Get A Grip. Nine Lives. Honkin On Bobo. Great Albums. Dont forget Permanent Vacation. Not "Pop Cacca".

  • @tacomonster98 and you forgot Rock In a Hard Place and Their Self Titled Album, Aerosmith.

  • One of the best Aerosmith songs. Everything is amazing, the intro solo, the main solo, the final solo. The drums are crazy!!!

  • Aerosmith>The Rolling Stones.

  • Aerosmith was everywhere in New England when I was growing up. No rock band ever did it quite like Aerosmith did. Aerosmith is by far the greatest American rock band to ever step foot on a stage. No American band before or since has even come close !

  • @tthoy1 couldn't have said it any better. this album makes me want to pick up my guitar in turn it up to 11.

  • Has anyone heard the cover of this song done by Testament in the 80s? It's FANTASTIC and does the original justice

  • i got this album for xmas 1977 and listened to it over and over

  • @thingplate I'd love to own their albums as vinyl original pressings.

  • LISTEN 17 seconds the door fucking opens LOL

  • "Rocks", just simply does THAT. I could listen to this forever. There just isn't a bad track on it.

  • @tallpaul881 I listen to this TWICE A DAY. And it STILL blows my mind. Aerosmith is AMAZING on their first four albums.

  • KICK ASS!

  • Rock OUT

  • :16 door opening

  • Arguably the most underrated song of all time.

  • this song has a deep meaning in my opinion

  • This would be a great opener on Tour

  • @80sHairMetalrocks aerosmith records get more and more popular as they get worse and worse. theyre still generally good comparatively but compared to other aerosmith records, just push play was pretty bad. its the same with all artists. the more popular they get, the more money they make, the harder they sell out

  • Their most underrated song

  • who's fault is it that Tyler's on Idol?

  • It's Nobody's Fault Aerosmith Rocks.

  • This song isn't "classic"--it's clasSICK!

  • Comment removed

  • Brad's the man on this one!

  • need words....please

  • Still they're heaviest song off all time. Rocks with vengeance, from they're greatest album.

  • BACK WHEN AEROSMITH ROCKED WITH ATTITUDE

    70s AEROSMITH WAS GREAT

I HOPE THEIR NEW CD SOUNDS LIKE THIS

  • @3doorsdown6 when does it come out? i havent heard anything about it for years.

  • @livewirevirginia

i heard it was suppose to come out sometime in 2011 or early 2012

  • @3doorsdown6 me too, but theyve been saying that for a while. hopefully its more of what honkin on bobo was like, i cant take another just push play

  • @livewirevirginia

i hope it sounds like the 70s stuff i don't like the new aerosmith in the 90s and i only like a few songs in the 80s by them

  • @3doorsdown6 i definitely agree, 70s was the best. 80s was ok, i like done with mirrors and pump, and parts of permanent vacation. 90s kinda blew. especially just push play in 2001..but hell yeah 70s aerosmith blows everything out of the water man

  • Whitford ahead of his time right here baby!!!

  • God, how I love this intro! It's probably one of the greatest rock intros of all time. I usually replay the beginning three or four times, before I listen to the whole song. I just love how the entire band jumps into a full tilt, ass kickin jam, after that slow, hazy introduction. It brings to mind the idea of waking up in the back seat of a car, sleepy and bleary eyed, when suddenly, you are dropped into the divers seat, going 120 miles an hour. It's like," Wake up and rock, motherf#cker!"

  • @skybluemarshall Oops! I meant to write, 'driver's seat'. I can blame that on the, 92 proof Sailor Jerry spiced rum, with a glass of A&W root-beer. Hmm, maybe I did mean "divers seat". I guess that depends on who she is and how clean her pool is.

  • arrowsmith was the shit

  • AEROSMITH ROCKS IS ONE OF THE GREATEST ROCK ALBUMS OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 0:17 Tyler coming through the door of the recording studio after a night of debauchery just in time for a good screaming lyric.

  • @probrojeffro Reading Tyler's autobiography, he says about the door in it.

  • @Jackiechan39 and he says what?

  • @Simon4642 He says it was some representative of Columbia Records sent to over see the recording of the album.

  • Guns 'n Roses, Metallica, Nirvana, Bon Jovi, Korn, Rage, Green . . . . sit at the feet of the masters . . . . and learn.

  • @probrojeffro Don't forget Motley Crue and Soundgarden. :P

  • @probrojeffro Fuckin A bubba!!!!!!

  • @probrojeffro Rage and Nirvana together with Bon Jovi? what do you smoke dude?

  • @rakuuu85 Yes, Kurt Cobain of Nirvana was inspired by Aerosmith. He stated many references in his journal, AND wrote a tribute song to them. No Aerosmith = No Nirvana = No Grunge.

  • @probrojeffro

    Get the fuck out.

  • @probrojeffro korn? hell no.

  • @midnighthawk100 FUCK KORN IN THE FUCKING RECTUM!

  • i surely did miss this vinal ove the years!

  • this is the best funeral or wedding song.

  • why can't this album just appear in my CD collection!!!! i want it so bad!

  • You guys know how every album you get seems to have a dull song your not keen on, or always skip, this one doesn't. This record is 1% Vinyl, 99% Awesomness.

  • ONE OF THE FIRST VINYL CUTS OF THIS ALBUM,NAMED THIS TUNE SORRY.

  • I miss the days when aerosmith used to write their own songs

  • @UltraSlatanic213 what are their new albums like just push play written by other writers?

  • Don't know if anyone noticed this but the title of this video kinda says it's nobody's fault that Aerosmith rocks. That's pretty cool

  • @WeeRyzobhoy haha, fuck yeah

  • Shove it up their Richters

  • Ahhhhh, Mr. Whitfords classic

  • Birds take to the sky

    Prophets are all stinkin' drunk

    I know the reason why

  • theme song of 2012

  • Heaviest song ever? Might be.

  • 40 fuckin' years and they're still around.

    And still rockin' out.

  • This is as hard as it gets but still captivates a huge audience regardless of genre taste.

  • Back when Aerosmith was a rock band... We used to ride our skateboards at a local park back in the late '70s. This tune rocked everytime we were there.

  • To me there are 2 Aerosmith's..the 70's rockers and the modern days poppers..this is the best of both incarnations.

  • ONE OF THE MOST HEAVY AND ROCKIN AEROSMITH SONGS! MASSIVE!

  • Metallicas james hetfield oves this song and it was his fav. as a kid and steven tyler and joe perry are the only reason why metallica exists today!

  • @aerosmithfan11 well i wouldnt say that, yeah they liked Aerosmith but were influenced by alot of Bands. Testament covered this song, oddly i heard it by them first in 88, Bout this in 89 & Love this Tape/LP

  • @MetalHeart8787 well yea of course bands are influened by just one band like Aerosmith was unfluenced by the stones and beatles, but Aerosmith is the ost influential for metallica

  • I forgot how fucking great this album is- I saw Aerosmith back in 78, AC/DC warmed up for them- WOW!! I seen them again in 92-93? another amazing show

  • The 70s can't ever happen again, not on this planet. Being 13 in 1975 was like being a god among gods. Aerosmith was the soundtrack to the wonder of it all.

  • 'Smith in their prime.... 5/5

  • probally my fav by them

  • EPIC

  • What a stellar opening, what an attack. The guitar voices exactly what the lyrics convey.

  • Aerosmith at their heaviest. Lyrics are even more accurate today than back then. But the old stuff gets in the thousands of hits, while the newer stuff, from 1987 onward, gets into the millions. Go figure. As far as I'm concerned, Aerosmith was great and creative from 1973 to 1976. Unfortunately, I went to see them at the Cow Palace in 1978, just after they released Draw the Line. They were too loaded to play their instruments.

  • @frank47hammer I saw them in Dallas...same thing. They were so loaded the songs were pretty much unrecognizable. But fuck they were good in the studio!

  • @damonch1000 Tyler and Perry were going through rough times in the lates 70s. Cocaine was their demise. But these AR songs from that period, as far as I am concerned, were their most honest music. It's probably what drove them to abuse. It's much easier to write for money than truth.

  • GNR's "My Michelle" sounds a bit like this song.

  • this album is amazing. Every song is amazing. just like Toys in the Attic. Best Aerosmith

  • I used to get home from school and play this song thru 500 watt speaker and I'd watch paint from the ceiling fall.

  • Slash has named this as the album that changed his life you know...

  • my favorite aerosmith song ever

  • Yeah. To think that there would be no Guns N Roses without this album! :)

  • @sydtheninja i was about to say the same thing. A ton of their songs on Appetite sound dead up like them. Especially Mr Brownstone or Rocket Queen, the solos have the Aerosmith style

  • The intro reminds me of Cathedral.

  • Best Aerosmith album!

  • I remember hearing "dream on" and thinking..."God I hope these guys aren't just a flash in the pan one hit wonder". Then they released the 'Rocks" album. And I Knew these guys would be great rockers.

  • This may be the heaviest song ever written.

  • @cometdust it would be if we didn't have all thoses shitty death metal bands like Cannibal Corpse and job for a cowboy

  • @cometdust it was, then.

  • I was 16 in 1976 when I bought this album. I listened to it hundreds of hours. Shortly you will see Steven's prophecy displayed. LOL. I can't wait.

  • @andyharvestedwards

Sleazy? That's not actually the word I'd use for this. More like "heavy" or "angry".

  • THE sleaziest rock song ever. Classic x

  • i was 8 years old back in 98.i was standing on a chair watching aerosmith.the security guard said i cant stand on the chairs.she lifted me up and set me in the second row.steven tyler looked at me like he couldnt believe an 8 year old was there.

  • you are soo lucky! i wish i was you!!

  • @sixxsells wow! That's awesome dude :D

  • @sixxsells O_o i wish i was you

  • Damn. I can see why this song/album influenced so many people. It fucking Rocks! As the album suggests. :)

  • the best memories ever and they never had a bad song yet im in my 50s and never got to see them but love every song THANKS STEVE

  • @seapalm1 you'll see it someday, i thought i would never see them

  • I always thought of areosmith as a mixed bag but here I think they hit it out of the park. God I wonder what people must of thought when they heard this kind of heavyness back in the 70s.

  • Speaking as someone who was lucky enough to have been there, we LOVED it! The 70's was NOT a Dicso decade! Aerosmith/Zeppelin/ P.Floyd/Skynard/ Bad Co. etc.....

    "Disco still Sucks!"

  • @orygun79 Sup Hyde

  • Don't forget Springsteen, Seger, Billy Joel, Neil Young, Allman Brothers, Elton, The Cars, J. Geils.....too many great artists. If you lived in the 70s and were old enough to remember, you were spoiled with the abundance of great rock music. This great shit will never die....

  • the best rock album ever

  • YUP!

  • Fucken epic

  • Where would Slash and Nikki be without this album?

  • @phrydoom If Slash quit using wah-wah on damn near EVERY guitar solo I might have listened more to GNR and his stuff.

  • @phrydoom Slash said that this was the album that made him play guitar. He was doing drugs at this girl's house, and they were listening to this album over and over again. He said he totally blew off the girl and rode his bike home because he knew what he wanted to do. So yeah, he'd be nowhere without this album. :P

  • @phrydoom and hetfield

  • @phrydoom AND cobain

  • Brings back great memories ridin around in the ol dodge dart:)

  • written like 35 yrs ago, n sounds like what we're going to get at copenhagen, sorry, we're so
