God, how I love this intro! It's probably one of the greatest rock intros of all time. I usually replay the beginning three or four times, before I listen to the whole song. I just love how the entire band jumps into a full tilt, ass kickin jam, after that slow, hazy introduction. It brings to mind the idea of waking up in the back seat of a car, sleepy and bleary eyed, when suddenly, you are dropped into the divers seat, going 120 miles an hour. @rakuuu85 Yes, Kurt Cobain of Nirvana was inspired by Aerosmith. He stated many references in his journal, AND wrote a tribute song to them. No Aerosmith = No Nirvana = No Grunge.

@phrydoom Slash said that this was the album that made him play guitar. He was doing drugs at this girl's house, and they were listening to this album over and over again. Where would Slash and Nikki be without this album?

@phrydoom If Slash quit using wah-wah on damn near EVERY guitar solo I might have listened more to GNR and his stuff.

@phrydoom Slash said that this was the album that made him play guitar. He was doing drugs at this girl's house, and they were listening to this album over and over again. He said he totally blew off the girl and rode his bike home because he knew what he wanted to do. So yeah, he'd be nowhere without this album. :P
