Well, I was always a Kid/Lou shipper, but Jimmy was something else, wasn't he? Course if Lou had chosen him she'd have been a widow in a couple of years. :( Poor Jimmy....
Now that's just naughty, but I can't say that I disagree with you either. Kid and Jimmy are definitely yummy enough to inspire that statement. :)
And, I'll admit that more than once while watching this series I thought Lou should have just dragged Kid and Jimmy off to the hayloft or the swimming hole and said, "Look, boys this is the way it's going to be." LOL!!!
I don't think they'd go for it, ESPECIALLY the Kid. she had to work damn hard just to get in his pants the regular way! some people might think kid's the kind you marry and jimmy the kind you nail, but I really have no use for the kid myself, she can keep him.
I know that it is probably just wishful thinking on my part. But on the other hand, Jimmy did have a naughty streak. I point to his comment to Kid in "Ghosts"..."Maybe we should join Lou" when she's in the pond. I think if he knew he was welcome he would be up for it. Kid would be more of a challenge. His jealous temper and ethics would come into play, but then again, Lou could usually talk him into things (i.e. the pond scene in "Judgment Day"). He always felt guilty later though. LOL!!!
I know jimmy has a naughty streak, although I think cody actually said the thing about joining Lou in the pond. but remember when the guys were ogling this lady and Lou said, 'sure, she's beautiful, but can she ride?' and Jimmy says 'funny, I was just thinking the same thing' ! (and me, I'm thinking, "I'd ride HIM!" I'm terrible. aren't we all just nasty things with our young riders porn?) fantasies?
I looked at the "Teaspoon finds out Lou is Louise" segment. It's in the window on this page, and although Cody is on screen, it still sounds like Jimmy's voice. Kid turns his head to Jimmy when he says "No, we won't" (LOL) too. So, I think Jimmy says it, but I could be wrong and my ears are playing tricks on me. :)
I remember the "ride" scene from "Speak No Evil" too. LOL!!! I was 14 when TYR originally began, and most of the naughty thoughts I have now never crossed my mind back then.
yes, you're right, it does sound like jimmy, I was just confused because the camera was on Cody and jimmy was speaking off frame. There was also that time Jimmy apparently gave Lou's ass a squeeze when they were tied back to back and she told him to untie the ropes. if you look at her face, after the surprise wore off, she had a little smile on her face- she had a nasty side too, I think.
Good, I'm glad that you think it sounds like Jimmy too, and I wasn't just deluding myself into creating what I wanted. LOL.
Yep, I remember Jimmy's little move during "A Good Day to Die". I also remember her reaction to it. LOL. That's the moment where I knew sooner or later the love triangle would emerge. She was definitely interested in his flirting. And, I agree that Lou had a "nasty side". When she stayed too long to watch Kid in the shower in "Requiem" is further proof of this.
I couldn't fit this into my first comment. I ran out of room. I was wondering why you don't like Kid. Rest assured that I'm not criticizing you. I'm just curious. I know we all have our favorites and those we aren't as fond of. Kid & Jimmy are my favs from TYR, and I was fond of Noah & Buck. Ike & Sam were nice guys, but they never heated my blood, and frankly, Cody got on my nerves most of the time. He took last place with me.
Differences are what make the world less boring. :)
I don't dislike the kid, I just wouldn't wanna DO him- he's too innocent, too uptight about sexual conventions- he's cute and sweet, he just doesn't seem like the type who would ravish you. I completely agree with you about Cody, he was kind of a buffoon. nice enough features, but always has a dumbass look on his face.
Thanks for elaborating on your thoughts on Kid. I understand now, and to some extent I agree with you. But, I also think his inexperience was endearing and honest. Men don't just automatically know what to do and some never learn. I do think he was capable of "ravishing", but I think his views on premarital sex prevented him from taking things there. After he got more experience and especially after he and Lou married, I get the feeling that Kid got better in this department. ;)
maybe. I just don't care for the boy-next-door type, though I get the appeal for others. but, you know, Jimmy was very passionate, and a romantic too, open-minded to boot. So I imagine he'd be the superior lay of the two, course all this is meaningless speculation as their not real. anyone's fantasy is as good as another's.
I have a scientific background so I tend to over analyze and think things to death...LOL. But I think you summed it up best when you said the following: "...course all this is meaningless speculation as their not real. anyone's fantasy is as good as another's. " :)
Ah Jimmy & Teaspoon, two of the most interesting characters of the show. They just seemed to have more layers to them then the others. Helped that Jimmy is hot, too.
