  • @jwildhorse28 They're Roxy Quiksilver shoes I bought off Delia's website years ago.

  • AH! I love your sneakers! Where did u get them? My friend wears those ALL THE TIME!

  • She's so cute! She looks like a little fox! Jumper horses and a jumper dog! Not a bad set of animals you've got!

  • your dog got hops! :) nicely done!

  • Great job!!!:D

  • Thanks :)

  • Aw,

I have a Japenese Shiba inu to!

Haha, I was watching your Duncan videos and saw you had a shiba. Adorable!

Mine's name is Bandit, and we love him!

    Shibas are the best!

  • Thank you for your comment! I have to agree: shibas rule :)

  • Shelby is AMAZING! :) One day I would love to train my Shiba for this.

Keep up the awesome work. n___n ~

  • Thanks! :)

  • ur dog is awesome agility! good job! ;]

  • Thank you :)

  • shes brilliant at the see saw thingie my doggie is just like im not gonna stand on this thing, i think i will jump on your head instead

  • Haha

  • Wow, shelby really pays attention to you to see what u want her to do next. Shes a great shiba!

  • Thank you very much! :) She's my baby! :)

  • damn how do you train a dog to do that my rat terrier will only jump if she is on a leash

  • Practice and patience. We also attend agility class (seen here) now and then to reinforce skills. Mostly, it's ME who needs the help, lol!

  • very nice job! and very beautiful dog!

  • Thank you! She is so smart!

  • I have a 3 year old Female red Shiba and we are working on Rally right now. Next weekend she will hopefully earn her RN. I to also do hunter jumper and dressage.

  • Cool, sounds like you lead a parallel existence to mine! ;)

  • i have a shiba inu too!

  • Cool! They rule! :)

  • Awesome!

I've taught my dog some back yard agility, but that's all I can do with her because no one does agility around here! =[

    But you guys are great!

I have a video of my dog doing a course I made in my backyard, check it out if you want :)

  • I'll check it out! Thanks!

Before I knew about the local dog school, I was just doing it in my backyard, too. I still do most of the time! :)

  • I LUV your dog. so cute.

  • Thanks :)

  • You know I just love to watch this little girl!! She has come so far and so have you! You have a very difficult breed when it comes to focus but you would NEVER know it watching you two......BRAVO TEAM SHELBY!!!

  • Thank you for all of your help in making that happen!! :) She has the talent, but you've helped us find her focus--and helped her co-pilot get a little more coordinated. ;)

  • She has really nice weaves and contacts. She also has a great jumping style!

  • Thank you! We've had to really work for the weave entries, but she's getting better and better! She's all about the jumps and contacts. The biggest thing I've had to reinforce with those is committing to the contact on the descent of the A frame.

  • Yes the weave entries and the downside of the A-frame is hard for them to get sometimes. She is looking good with it though!

  • wow she's really good!

how did u teach her to do the weave poles? thankyou.

  • She really learned the weave poles at class; the poles can be tilted down, so at first they start them with 6 poles set up like little V shapes, and the dog runs down the center. As the dog gets more confident, you make the poles closer and closer to vertical--and they still have the idea to aim for the center. It takes time and patience, that's for sure!

  • oh ok i think i get the idea.

will have to try one day! :) thx

  • Aw id love to see her proud little strut back to the car. Shes such a little star isnt she. Its great to see she enjoys doing this sort of thing.

  • Thanks! I think if she DIDN'T have a job--if I never did agility with her, and she was strictly a house pet--she'd probably be destructive. She just has a lot of energy and a sharp mind, and I think she'd get bored and kind of bitter about not having better things to do. Fortunately, that's not the case. I can leave horse tack, clothes, even a plate of my food laying around, and she can discern what's hers and what's mine.

  • Well i would think not only her but you take alot of pleasure from these experiences as well. The fact she is so diciplined at home is very impressive yet she sill keeps her big personality sometimes that fades away with such curomstances so its great to see she remains her happy self. Have you ever thought of getting her a companion shilts it can have a bad infulence it can also have a good one it all depends on how their characters mix together.

  • Your Red Shiba Inu is so insanely smart and beautiful! I'm starting my pup Sammy in agility, thanks for posting this video!

  • Thank you! Good luck with it--it's so rewarding! :)

  • I'm rewarded now since Sammy now brings me his toy to play fetch, instead of me chasing him for it ;) He just stunned me today, bringing his toy to me :) It's a really big deal to me! Anyways, thanks for the good luck!

    Cya.
