I heard that Viggo Mortensen bought the horse he rode in Hidalgo. Is that incorrect info?

haha i dont know how people can say he doesn't look like the horse hidalgo from the movie, there are like 5 different horses that play hidalgo in the movie, he has to look like one of them :P

Actually he doesn't look anything like that horse in Hidalgo but he is beautiful

@MagicJen198326 It's not at all unusual for horses to wear make-up in movies, just like human actors. They did the same thing when filming "Secretariat." It's impossible to find five or six horses that look identical, so they find some that are the right basic color, and then paint them to match.

Yes, we thought Hidalgo looked like the movie horse too. He was sweat natured and My brother Roy had him trained to lay down when when he went to his new home in Montana.

I saw Hidalgo at the auction he is so so so so pretty! He  is a amazing horse and his color is pretty to! : )
