The point is we can't take everything the Bible says so literally in this crazy world. And Jesus's teaching was above all to love everyone.

I think your arguments are right on, but I also think that a minister should have the right to choose if he/she wants to marry a homosexual couple. If not, I think it would be going against his/her freedom of religion.
