Ya i think the touch pad has some getting use to but the keyboard is very very nice but speakers are a bit weak but all in all i would buy this laptop if it was for sale. Oh and you can unlock developer mode by a little switch on the device.Its on the bottom of the device next to the right of the contacts were the battery touches if you wan experiment.

Great video man and i just got my laptop from Google and its great. It feels nice its light has a beast of a battery and is very mackbook like but not in a bad way.

@Backslash10 Thanks for the compliment. I find touch pad to have a quirky sensitivity to it that takes some getting used to. Also, different touch pad gestures than the Mac (for example, how to right click).

I don't think the CR48 is gonna be a huge success..

There are plenty of net-books out there that offer a lot more.

Its going to depend mainly on pricing.

@akib89 it's a reference platform. It's not a netbook that Google is selling. It is going to mostly beta testers and developers to give Google feedback. It's a glimpse into the future of what a true netbook -- one that runs everything in a browser and one that really doesn't run applications locally -- might be like. Granted, it looks like you can download plug-ins. So, you can't really say "nothing but Net."
