  • Wait what is all this shit about Jesus

  • his voice is so amazingly soothing

  • heeeyyyy LOOK! its john lennon XD LOL

  • The guy in the blue and green shirts look like they could be twins. Are they? o_o

  • @MitusTheDestroyer Yes and the 2 blokes in glasses with beards are brothers

  • Our holy saviour, Jesus sent me here! after he told me heaven didn't exist and said it would numb the pain..... turns out he was right. Thankyou Jesus

  • Obviously Jesus, Now I can see what you mean.

  • @DelioOWNS Your thumbs up are irrelevant and stupid

  • @1marksy11 First time I tryed it and the first time I get trolled xD

  • jesus

  • "Wanting not to want you won't make it so." Pure brilliance from Matt. Could have been the soundtrack to a few breakups I've experienced.

  • i love love love them . i feel like screaming ! (which is a positive thing !)

  • "There's a radiant darkness upon us"

........ this guy paints landscapes with words.

  • @kenneld not sure if troll or just stupid :/

  • wonderful!

  • u made a slow disaster outta me...

  • I want those gonzo shades

  • amazing song. hard to believe it didn't make the original album (I know it's on the expanded edition)

  • This song sounds reminds me of another non-album track, 'So Far Around the Bend.' It seems that the National have a completely different sound hidden somewhere that they're not willing to release in a full-length album, even though I actually like that sound over the one they've explored so far (or just as much). Hopefully, their next album will be more like it.

  • love this band but he does sound like nick cave here.

  • they're re-releasing high violet with this and some other b-sides in november

  • @kenneld i suggest u stop searching for songs on youtube that you do not like, or failing that, i've heard jumping off a cliff is a good way to go

  • @kenneld lololol i think most people just voted you down without even reading the last sentence of your comment. keep it up mate

  • @kenneld why do you have this on ur ipod if u dont like it?? and why on eath did u have as ur first dance??

  • @kenneld If you didnt like it, why the fuck would you play at your wedding....its your fucking wedding. you paid for it, if you wanted to play fucking "Baby got Back" you could of....shit dude.

  • there's a radiant darkness upon us

  • Not many band that almost move you to tears with a b-side!

  • One of the greatest bands of our generation...this song is so brutally honest and haunting, yet absolutely beautiful all the while...The composition reminds me a bit of the Sufjan Stevens tune "Flint"...He's a close friend of the band so perhaps he influenced this recording some...This band continues to amaze...

  • the piano is so heavy and at the same It's like walking above the ground

  • God this is so sad. I love the National. What a voice.

  • i absolutely love the national, his voice is so amazing

  • Gotta love how even the songs that don't make the album kick the ass of most any other band's best songs.

  • Amazing song! Although sad, it has an eerily soothing quality to it.

  • best band ever.

  • thanks for the upload

  • What a refreshingly different voice!
