  • Danke fürs Hochladen. Isis und Arte - passt perfekt.

  • Vildt till

  • you can see me ! haha

  • lol he listened to beastie boys when he was 8 or 9.. well back then when i was about 6-8 i listened to backstreet boys or so which is of course fucking embarassing today :D

I think it's interesting how Aaron founded a record label so soon (17 years old!?!) where did he get the money and all the stuff from?

  • what is the first song ?

  • wrist of kings from the album the absence of thruth

  • Turner gets the Jekyll/Hyde award for furthest transformation between on stage prescence and his normal persona, voice.

  • ohJESUS1

  • the last song is actually "False Light"

  • Yes, you're right ^.^

  • I have translated the Interview back into english....please have a look at the 'About This Video' to read it.

  • ISIS needs WEED or HASH please help. That's awesome. Isn't their drummer against all that kind of stuff?

  • I think, that's a joke ;)

  • fuck, the german voiceover in astoundingly frustrating, can any viewers post the translation back into english?

that would be really really cool

  • I'll translate it, as soon as I find the time.

  • Something like something about something this week with EEZIS. Then she says something about in the past year or something we have here ISIS from California. I don't understand the part over the merch booth. Something about nice metal bands. Aaron Turner born in New Mexico 1978? He heads the band. He has art in Boston studied. He says the firt kick or epiphany was with the first Beastie Boys album License to Ill. Fuck I need to improve my German.

  • well, there german pronounciation is the more likely the "right" one ...referring to the egyptian ISIS, which sounds more like the german. but whatev, it's the name^^

  • I'ts quite amusing that many german ISIS-Fans are using the english pronounciation.

But I think the german pronounciation sounds much cooler; independent from the 'right' way to pronounce it.

  • i think we use the english pronounciation because the band does ;)

  • i also use the english pronounciation. I think "Isis" pronounced in german sounds rather,.. well.. female, and also when there's an english/american band you also usually spell the name like in english. That's just natural to me.

    whatever ._. just name

  • It is supposed to sound female... It is a female name.

  • :D good argument

  • IF they are called after the female godess, yes,.. but are they? there are no references whatsoever and also i see no reason for this, there is no connection between their music and the egyptian god..

    or is there? :/

  • Is there no interview of the band, where they explain why they named themselves ISIS?

  • i dont know a single one... but i guess they arent big enough so that a lot of people would really care :/

    but would be interesting..

  • There was this radio interview I heard some time ago, somewhere online, and Aaron explained the name was originally just something they settled on at first, but over time it crept its way into their imagery and lyrics. Isis loves women.

  • Maybe we should aks an egyptologist, how the name was pronounced originally.

  • A lot of names whatever the subject in most cultures remains unchanged except Coke maybe

  • i dont understand what you wanna say chris :|

  • ISIS macht alles nieder

  • @Thronsohn I agree man, no one came close. Only Lateralus from Tool comes close.

  • teilweise sieht man bei Tracks halt VERDAMMT gut e Bands, aber jedes Jahr viell. ein Mal...wenns hochkommt,

    Isis ist großartig

  • dasselbe hippieshirt hatte er auch beim hurricane an :)
