  • One innovation I do see on this hack is the slope elevator which is pretty cool and I plan on using in mine. Just be careful to keep it short because it makes samus go faster than the screen scrolls.

  • tyjet is right there's just too much crap that is distracting. Just because SMILE let's you do whatever (almost), doesn't mean don't do it in moderation. I believe you can move save points but you need to edit the hex code and pointers. Also look at SMR for ideas on the reflector enemy.

  • Looks good man but i could have gone without the music haha and i dont think you can move the save points into other rooms but im not a expert with SMILE maby someone else knows if you can

  • @Webber1900 I know you can move them into whatever room you want. I would ask Squishy on Metconst because he has the best knowledge of SS's around.

  • Pretty good, awesome use of the reflector, nice recoloring of tiles and enemies and plms, nice ideas on retiling, the only problem I see that most people won't enjoy is the fact that it is cramped for space, that and there are too many tiles that you can walk through that also cover samus, if you abuse these two things, it can really distract the player from how awesome your hack may be.

  • The enemy is some kind of beam reflectors.

    the tiles are called ladders that are just a bunch of slopes stacked on top of each other.

    What is the enemy at 3:10? and how does the enemy work?

    Also how did you make those tiles shoot you straight up while in morph ball?
