@piccard1976 Agreed, though this is quite hard to avoid. Of course filming on a cloudless day could probably help allot. And secondly if it was done in the tropics or at least some place warmer than Denmark, the ice would melt faster and thus the footage wouldn't need to be sped up as much. Alternatively this could be done in a dark room with only artificial lights. Thanks for your comment!
I would love to see the grass growing video! btw one whole hour? Gosh where I live an ice cube on a table will melt before 5 minutes have passed. (That would be in the Caribbean, tropical island)
Damn the Caribbean is a nice place. went to St. Lucia last year and it was fantastic. A timelapse of grass growing would be tricky since it will likely take several months to get the full effect. It would probably be easiest to do inside as you can leave the camera on the tripod and not worry about bad weather. One could then take a still picture every day at noon, but still then it would be hard to keep the camera completely steady when you operate it.
the shadows and refelctions look really cool, im thinking of doing something like this in my video project, but ive frozen a rose head inside to see what that looks like. :)
wow bro! this video has received many views and comments!

the constant change of lighting between frames spoiled an otherwise great idea of a stop motion video
