Just came back from The CES conference, and it's a 3D Tv glass-less , It has voice control (so no remote) you can say, "ch, 2" you can also say YouTube or internet and you just say it and it writes it out, just like SIRI on the iPhone 4S, except no pressing required. it has GESTURE CONTROL (like the Xbox Kinect) AND it has face recognition. AND it's OLED. it's 55inch. And weight Iike 16 pounds. And the tv doesn't break, cause its not glass screen. and it's super thin!!! I want to say it looks t
game consoles have already entered the tv entertainment market, just force the television companies to live on the Internet already, thats all I'm asking. Cable conpanies are holding us down, forcing us to use their crappy interfaces and remotes to use tv. I want something like xbox's espn, where i can stream in pre-recorded segments of their show, and watch live games. I don't want to wait an hour to get news, i want to watch the latest news right away.
I don't think I would have used the word 'Change' in my commercial. That word is now synonymous with a Mistake America made a few years ago. And besides, with all the crap that is being produced in Hollywood, I'd like nothing more than to Change the channel. Or pretty much keep my T.V. off. Thank God for xBox and Playstations.
@LogoLaughs youre very ignorant if you think the ipad was the first tablet, it was thebfirst one to go mainstream thats about it. funny people always say "oh apple is so innovative" naw not really they just do a good job of marketing things others have already made
Would be nice if they for once had something truly mindblowing on the software side, and not just another app or silly remote control for ones phone/tablet which requires you to look at the device, push the button and then back up on the tv to make sure it did what you wanted it to.
Don't get me wrong - I love Samsungs TV's and got one myself. But that's because of the exterior and hardware + playback capabilities and not because of the apps and extremely slow way to browse youtube and the web.
Reminds me of LG's commercial. And my opinion on smart tv's is that it's a joke, i only need a tv to watch channels, movies and so on, I don't need another device to install apps on it or browse the web, those things are unnecessary on tv's and only increase their prices.
@MisterHeroy That's what they said about cellphones. I only need a cellphone to call people, receive some texts, etc. Adding unnecessary features on a phone will increase the price and only a small niche of people will buy them.
@JackTheRyder6 hmmmm, i don't know anyone who said that about phones... I know only old people that buy simple phones without many features and say they don't need more but they say that for themselves not for everyone.
@MisterHeroy I would disagree. I don't have cable and don't want to pay for it. I want to watch TV via the internet and pay for online movies when I want to watch them. I don't want to steal and they can put commercials in, but I don't want all the extra crap you get with dish or cable.
I'd say the last clip is pretty accurate - a family staring at their phones and tablets while sitting in front of a huge TV that's essentially just providing background noise.
haha reminds me of the "The End" Commercial from LG

They left the 3D glasses on the table... so I assume it's going to be 3D without glasses.

it seems computers, cellphones and televisions will all become pretty much similar functioning devices with just different sizes.
all of them can process data, communicate with wireless network, displacy video, play music, take photos and record video, and so on.
