Rarely do i think a cover can be a truly great example of the performer's work - in a defining type of way - but I would have to say that this is an exception to that rule. When I was a DJ in college, I played this song all the time, and 20 years later it is still one of my 10 favorite songs of all time. Thanks for posting it.

@seanmurphyny I totally agree with your thoughts on this cover in particular. Although I love Mascis's original, this version churned something funny round and round inside my then-little-seventeen-year-old self. So glad to see others dig it too!! :)
