Now - if Castro would just "go away" we would start importing ethanol from sugar in Cuba - but I don't think the sugar industry wants Castro or the sugar embargo to go away. Better to keep the prices high .. and what better way to raise sugar prices even more than to shift it out of the food supply to an energy source like public policy has done for corn. Gawd. Ethanol requires 1700-2200 gallons of irrigation water per gallon of fuel.

Last I checked, Florida was purifying sea water because there wasn't enough fresh water to go around.

Are they saying they have huge piles of fresh water laying around that they aren't telling people about?
