Better than when the Norfolk pikies were doing the in-cars but still crap framing and the audio is total shite. The electrical interference can be avoided and decent sound obtained if correctly designed.
you can always be sure of a good rally in wales... rain, mud, sheep... what more do ya need... oh yeh and the odd man welshman who has never seen a car in his life. lol
It's interesting to see how Jari finds more confidence in about 2/3 of the stage. I think that the brakes was one problem, but what could have made driving particularly tricky was the front drive failure. It might have made the reactions of the center diff very unpredictable.
Tough luck. Jari appears to be a really nice person and this was a very bad season for him. I think he definitely deserves more chances for the future. Anyone remember Mikko's troubled past in rallying? :)
Poor JariMatti his regular brakes behave like handbrake causing him massive oversteering, he had to drive very slowly. Thanks juhaket for the translation!
Yep, no brakes. :) On SS1 the left front driveshaft broke and during the liason to SS2 it broke the front brake lines. Luckily the first corner was so tight so they noticed it immediatly. The spin is caused because there was still a full brake pressure on the rear wheels.

lbailey91 2 years ago
They had a driveshaft failure, which in turn cut through the brake line!

it seems to have steering problems

I think it is having brake problems, according to what they spoke earlier anyhow.

Here's some translation if anyone is interested. :)
JM: Whoops! We don't have any brakes on this car!
Miikka: Now it (the broken driveshaft) has broken the front brake lines. I was about to warn you about that.
0:25 Miikka: Handbrake might work... Does it work?
0:54 Miikka: Watch out those jumps.
0:59 JM: I think it's the left hand side driveshaft.
Miikka: Yep.
