I'm surprised that you haven't put the ability "Air Recovery" or whatever it's called on Sora. You can recover in the air and it's much easier to defeat eniemies that like to stay in the air most of the time.

Hey seamus i know youre extreme dislike of people giving you tips and stuff but theres really an easy way to beat almost any boss. Equip the teamwork ability on goofy then equip auto limit. This lets you use knocksmash which is way op tbh. I took this dragon down in half the time with 2 knocksmashes. Just figured i would throw it out there for ya. :D
