  • wohoooohooou!!!

  • is it fwd???

  • @zVlPERz AYC

  • @zVlPERz AWD, it's just on launch the front end lifts and the front wheels tend to spin as they have less traction

  • dont drink before ride :D

  • Greatest video on this website!!

  • ^o^;;

  • I will like to know THE TAXI DRIVER NUMBER !!! every day i will go with it to scholl. The scholl wold be so fun :)

  • jajajajaja :)

  • That girl is so wet right now

  • i want to be in that taxi thats a real one

  • nice video

  • Hahahaha! Im a subaru heart now! But i have a lancer! Awsome!!

  • So funny

  • I'm a Subaru owner and I love this video! Haha, brilliant!

  • ไอ้สัดคนแรกเป๋เรย 555

  • I just love the sound of ALS!

  • Cont... The AYC would usually be replaced with an RS diff... Which is much stronger and handles better with more feedback to the driver. Would be very surprised to see AYC on this car... Going to town having full on anti lag and launch control, stripped out etc and then missing out the fitment of an RS diff

  • Great Vid... Although some daft comments!

Scoobies and Evo's are not pretty much the same car... Yes they can be compared as they are both 4 wheel drive 2ltr turbo saloon cars that have WRC pedigree but thats about the only thing they have in common. It's like saying a Ferrari is the same as a Lamborghini.

In regards to the AYC making the wheels spin more at front due to working out where the power is needed is a fair conclusion... Although being a rally prepared Evo, the AYC should be replac

  • 4 people drive STI's

  • เจ๊ดโด้ว... อีโวแท๊กซี่

  • 三菱 rules

  • i wish all taxis were like that...this way there wouldnt be much traffic congestion

  • @krazydude93 u fucking asshole tats wat i said ..read whle comment before you call me fool.. besides this fool realy though cars were 4x4 .. fucking pussy.. go find his commnt is somewhere in this video

  • @krazydude93 u fucking asshole tats wat i say ..read whle comment before you call me fool.. besides this fool realy though cars were 4x4 .. fucking pussy

  • f*ckin great

  • 3 guys lost in a race with ths evo! :D

  • อยากนั่ง TAXI แบบนี้วะ

  • See now THAT'S quality taxi service...should get more of that here in New York City....

  • i think FWD and RWD have more handling than AWD but they vetter in launch i saw this fool's comment saying ITS A 4x4 hahaha is AWD u fool 4x4 is on trucks.. que baboso indio jajajajaja

  • @MrEvo89

4x4 is not only on trucks.

Any vehicle labeled as 4wd is the same as 4x4.

    AWD is the same concept.

They all have the same base concept, but work in different ways, through different differential setups.

4x4 is majorly associated with trucks and off road vehicles because "4x4" sells.

Do some research before you call someone a fool..

    Fool.

  • she's probably thinking, I wanted to get in...

  • The 3 dislikes must have been from the girl, her mother and her grandmother....

  • @dibourk 3 dislikes were subaru drivers for sure

  • @matims04 Not a lot of people except for extreme fanboys argue upon the STI and EVO. They're practically the same damn car.

  • @dibourk the family has grown, now there are 5 dislikes

  • Woot.....xD

  • Chuck Norris driving this car!

  • @Russian601 Oh my effing lord... when will you people learn that Chuck Norris does NOT drive cars... he does not have a need for it. Pfft.

  • @Magnak Perhaps you're right.

  • where can I sign up to be a driver for that cab company :)

  • The man taxi!!!

  • that's Stig's everyday job... :)

  • LMAO awsome!

  • LOVE IT HAHAHAHA!

  • 80% of the replies for pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR came from a magazine or a Top Gear episode...

  • It sat on it's ass, that's why the wheels in the front spun

  • 2 people drive hondas

  • ahhahahahaahhah

  • I love this damn video !!

  • q boludes!

  • 1 person got sick after the ride !!

  • I love how confused the guy was when got of the taxi :-) and enother guy shakes from the sound of revs. :-) I would like to order that taxi on everydays basis. Does anyone knows is the driver detective inspector STIG? :-) And girl is thinking "shit, maybe I should take a bus?" hahaha

  • I love how confused the guy was when got of the taxi :-) and enother guy shakes from the sound of revs. :-) I would like to order that taxi on everydays basis. Does anyone knows is the driver detective inspector STIG? :-)

  • 1 person missed the "like" button

  • thats a taxi worth taking

  • This is just full of win!

  • AWD so power is 50/50 split between front/rear unless the ACD redistributes power. The ACD can shift up to about 10% of the power to any one wheel. When the car launches, the front end lifts putting less weight on the front tires. The front wheels probably spun because they were lifting a bit.

  • @DeathMetalKillsEmos Definitely the correct answer. The weight transfers to the back, decreasing traction in the front.

  • Good advert :P

  • this video is so full of win

  • Thanks guys for the answers. It's basically like an approval that it's a fact to all the research I'm reading right now :) this is awesome.

Only in a perfect world would this be an everyday thing

  • @4g63tgsx With taxi's like this, i'll never be late for school again

  • i dont get it.

  • sent by SCE!

  • haha thats awesome

  • The smoke is fake when the car arrived and they digitally added more smoke when it launched...i love the concept..but the digital modifications cheapened it!

  • I'd pay double for that

  • @Craaaaabs usually you pay double for that kind of action

  • that's a nice mini clip!,,wehehe

  • sauber

  • woww thats wat i call super fast service .. he runs nitrous right?? i think he put something to rear wheels to lose grip and new tires infront to get more grip ..thats wat i think

  • Slow

  • I'm guessing this is a german 4g broadband ad

  • Awesome!

  • I want the girl♥

  • NICE!!! Love the video!!!

  • its the stig

  • Hello

I are the driver of the car. it go in the NM competition in Norway.

People ask about 4wd. when i leave the Taxi stop i hold the handbreake to try smoke the lady as mutch as posible.( the electronic cut the 4Wd system when the handbrake is on + ca 1 secund after.

The frontweels had dobbel air pressure too take of the grep and turn the car short the movie is real.

  • ROFL

    cool !

  • epic

  • LMAO!!!!!! The face of the girl when the EVO left!!!!!!!! Hilarious LOL

  • FUCK YEAH!!

  • I wanna do this in my X, so sick.

  • why is it front wheel drive?

  • @tehtru7h thats a AWD burnout. evo is deff not stock.

  • @deadjoey77 dude howcome when it launched, the front wheel spun more? I know it's 4X4 but...why did the front wheels spun more?

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR its awd not 4x4

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR it has a lot of power therefore it lost traction.

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR

when u accelerate the weight moves back on the rear wheels. so less weight means less grip for the front tyres

  • @dazza2105 oi nah ?!

  • @dazza2105 oh I get it. It makes sense. I thought all 4 wheels would spin at least a little more equal to each other. It made it look like a FWD since the front wheels spun more than the wheels

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR

i just found out the guy held the handbrake for a second to make the front tyres spin even more then usual. that explains it all now

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR hahaha cuz when it launched, the weight shifted to the rear, lightening the load on the front tires, thus causing the front tires to spin free'er than the rears. just shows that cars LSD is very neutral or non-existant :P

  • @FromUnderOrion oh yeah I forgot the LSD hahaha that explains why :P thanks!

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR prolly had more power diverted to the front wheels. for example on a typical gravel rally course, you might wanna put 60% to front and 40% to rear

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR ITs Called Power.........and the fact that there was dirt on the road and they are not slick tires to help it launch better to

  • Comment removed

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR may because the front LSD, normally evo don't have that from factory.

  • @svar79 I'll do more research. I love Evo's but idk the specs. I got caught up with something cheaper like the 240sx S13 and I know every specs of it now. Time to move back to Evo >:)

  • @svar79 helical lsd front and rear evo 8 and evo 9 with ayc/acd system

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR Evo's are Front wheel biased. STi's on the other hand are Rear wheel biased.

  • @sTeadFasT96

errrrr wrong!!! evo has center diff which splits 50/50 like subaru. evo has 1centerdiff 2 frontdiff/bevel gear 3 rear diff. i know i work on evo´s

  • @fmyboki892 If I'm correct, because of the way the engine sits, unlike the STi, it can only split UP TO 50/50, and then from there on it'll be more FWD? It can't do lets say 30/70 or something like that. .

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR

the AWD computer decided that the front tires needed more power. also with all those upgrades the computer might work a little differently when telling what tire needs more power.

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR its just physics mate. When the car launches the weight shifts to the back so the back wheels have maximum traction, while the fronts lift providing little traction. The active diff would be distributing most of the power to the rear

  • @mistermeena I know that but the lsd I need to figure out haha I got to do more research on how it really works. It's interesting. I thought all 4 wheels would spin all at the same time

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR a limited slip diff is exactly that. it allows a limited amount of slip.

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR

the reason why the front tires spun more was to allow for traction. these RALLY spec cars have CRAZY acceleration.. 50/50 u can CHANGE that.. it doesn't stay that way.. a simple Torque Center Diff. will allow you to split the power from the REAR to the Front or Front to the Rear.. and or it can be controlled by the computer.. just like how the EVO has Active Yaw Control. which allows to transfer power from each wheel to the wheel that needs power the most or needs it less

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR Physics, front wheels have less grip if all the weight is thrown to the back

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR Evos are front wheel drive biased, which should promote understeer, but the torque split and AYC eliminate that all together....amazing machine

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR To answer your question directly: because of power distribution. The devil's on the details though because any expert review you can find on youtube will always mention the 'fun factor' or whatever, but something in that sorts. ECU launch control, hence that 'dip' on back on car when front wheels spin more. Torque Force: the neck breaker: Forced Love.

  • Comment removed

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR to have more controll over car on the curves.. as we know cars with with FWD doesnt like to drift but with RWD and 4WD are really easy to provoke them to drift, so they set into that evo power about 65-75% power on front wheels and the rest on back

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR because it's not 4x4 it's awd whichj mean all wheels get power. On an awd car most put alot of the power to the front wheels first and with his launch it transfers all the weight of the car to the rear

  • @whenmunkysfly nail on the head dude

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR

You can distribute the torque more front, 50/50, or more rear. I am not 100% certain on this, but the WRC setups can do more selections than just 65/35, 50/50, or 35/65. This is, a rally car after all showing off a true ALS.

  • @andrewd5418 thats the right answer. the ground may also my slick

  • @andrewd5418 I always thought it was a 50/50 but it's Evo. I know Subies have that option in stock STI WRX or the WRX. I didn't know Evo's have this lol

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR less grip in front. you can see all the weight was at the back upon launch

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR Because all of the car's weight shifted backwards, unloading the front wheels...

  • @WeAreN1nja Also, the power distribution isn't exactly 50/50 to the front and back.

  • @kangphil Evo doesn't have this. Only on Subies right? (so far as I know of). From my research, all rally cars does this when they launch. I always thought since they're AWD, their power distribution is 50/50

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR I know the Evo 9 has larger front brakes, which may account for a slightly FWD bias. There's also the complicating factors of the limited slip differential which sends powers to the wheels that need it - with a greater weight distribution at the back of the car the system could have sent more power to the front. We also don't know how the driver pulled away, the handbrake could have been used to initiate the wheelspin.....

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR It's not exactly 50/50, they tweak it slightly.

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR Because the AYC decided it would be better to send more to the front? Evo's have AYC so it changes how much power goes to the each of the 4 individual wheels to keep it as flat as possible through the bends. So for some strange reason the AYC thought i would be better going towards the front? Idk guessing.

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR That and a bit of weight shift, the shift of the weight towards the back probably caused the front end to get a little light.

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR

because the front have to always spin faster or else they will slip.. gawd.noobs

  • @squallz13 "because the front have to always spin faster or else they will slip"? THEY ARE SLIPPING. It's not gripping at all dumb dumb. Ha..it's funny how you call yourself a noob. Do you even know anything about cars? I do. I just recently researched about how the AWD cars like these work. From how the front/rear differential works to the engine swap. I'm beginning to wonder who's the noob here

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR

Depends on how they have the center diff setup, if it's balanced for more front then it is rear the fronts will spin. if it's setup for rear the rears would spin more.

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR im very positive its 60 and 40....percent

  • @spinninDJE oh I see it. Yeah yeah the 98 Subaru Impreza STi is 55% in front and 45% rear. It's for the control? Front tires spin faster for control. It has more control with the front than the rear. The rear is basically for making it faster? I see :) thanks :) and thanks youtubers! I'm learning a lot >:)

  • @tehtru7h

as we can all hear it has a anti-lag system which means a rally spec evo.

  • hahahah this is so great! love when the guy jumps from the two-step!

  • This is amazing! hahahaha

  • best car commercial till now! hahahahahaa

  • Love Evo IX

  • "Damn I wish I had gotten in" the woman thought.

  • @deadjoey77 I had to vote down, because i own an STI and still have yet to be beat by an EVO

  • @WolfDataTube looks like you were racing lancers

  • @aesorn Yea, i think i have a little more common sense than to confuse a lancer with an evo, thats like saying the wrx is an sti..

  • Comment removed

  • @dragonman14 at least i got to read what you said in my email, sad that you think that was someone trying to be "tought" tho :/ lol <3

  • @WolfDataTube yea haha realized that so i was just like fuck it i cant come back after that >.>

  • @WolfDataTube theyres still stock 8s running around? lol cause ive yet to find an sti to lose to. its always great to see some buddies with stis look at me like im the loch ness monster when i tell them i push 28lbs on my green on a stock block and head. reliably all day long. apparently your guys' 2.5 open deck legacy motor cant do that ;)

  • @warstang27

There are plenty of people with even ej205 motors pushing over 40 psi on gt42's and gt35r's.....

  • lmao that will be so much fun

  • a video worth watching!! Hilarious

  • WHAT THE FUCK! lmaoo

  • Winning!
