Well, I animated this with stop-motion animation, I'm sure a google search will produce fantastic tutorials, not to mention the fact that there must be many, many good books about stop-motion in libraries. As for the software, it's in the description. I did this whole project on one computer, but there are many cheaper alternatives to Final Cut, like Windows Movie Maker, or iMovie. I highly recommend iStopMotion if you have an Apple computer. The visual effects were just colored flashlights.

That's pretty much what we were trying for, and, you might have noticed, we tried to match the hand motions of the actual guitarist as closely as possible.

Interesting you should ask that. We got about 20 seconds done on a new flick before my Dad had to go to Poland for 10 days. So, almost no work can be done for about a week. I was thinking of repackaging the 20 seconds as a sort of teaser trailer to post here, any thoughts?

I've been planning to do a sequel, the only reason I didn't use TTFAF is because... well, it's so well known and a little variety doesn't hurt. But yeah, I will try to include more performers next time.
