It took me all these years to realse that the words of this song are being sung on the perpective of the girl and not the guy LOL. Cause for some reason I missed the crucial point at the end when the guy smiles and throws confetti and say omedetou...and the girl even till that last moment was waiting for him to act...yes he liked her but it was she who really loved him and wonders 'doshite kimi wo suji ni natte shimatandarou'........
