  • (o; welephant walk ;o)

  • Y'all should have heard them last week at the Exit/In. They were in tip-top form, sounding exactly like their studio recordings.

  • Very Nice!

  • Let's all get stoned and make everyone think we're great. As session musicians they were great, but as this song proves they were "out there".

  • What a hater.

  • The one guitar player (white t-shirt stage left) looks like he is undergoing a lobotomy mid-verse. He sucks on his cigarette and plays screaching chords that sound like a Cheshire cat in heat. I used to catch an earlier incarnation of Barefoot Jerry at Nashville's Exit In. This is still a great tune.

  • guitar is 'too loud ! the guy on the stool should be playing lead ! wayne moss is great !

  • This song was written by Bobby Thompson. The baddest banjo player ever.

  • hot babe.....

  • All of the Barefoot Jerry releases are available at

    barefootjerry period kom

  • Grocery was my favorite. Anyone know why you can not buy it?

  • Thanks for posting. One of my favorite albums was "Watchin TV With the Radio On." Keep hopin some one will post swongs from that album. Esp - Must be a Better Way"

  • not bad I grew up in hendersonville and remember Barefoot from the late 70's when they played for our high school i still have the watchin tv album

  • Hey, I think the singing is first rate... pitch is on the money, with no help from Antares or any other machine. I'm impressed, and think that the song will live on even longer for her having done this version! Way ta go!

  • Gr8 vocal.....

  • Nice band ...thanx....

  • Anyone attempting this song is alright by me! Fair play indeed.

  • gotl?

  • Wow. Terrible singing. Horribe guitar solo. A successful attempt at destroying the super-cool original.

  • @75again : fool....

  • Check out the two albums "BAREFOOT JERRY"(Castle rock album) 1973, and "WATCHIN' TV" 1974. Great u.s. country rock, excellent diverse songs. self penned and covers. I still love this band after 36 years ! Wayne Moss is an incredibly talented musician. 5 stars !

  • Interesting. I've been hooked on BJ for over 30 years. The tracks are still as fresh as when I first listened. Pity Mac isn't on guitar.

  • Comment removed

  • I got BJ's Can't get Off LP in the '70's...so funky...so original.....

  • Allez Allez Mandy Moss...where R U now?

  • Many many thanks to Vidziller ...what a pleasure to finally enjoy Mac live ....hope there is some more .....where this came from ???

Are you sure its Amanda Moss , if so what other songs did she do ?

  • I'm pretty sure Amanda is the daughter of Wayne Moss the one on the stool playing guitar. Founder and lead player of BJ

  • well, it's not genius. but cool for old fans to see. not the choicest of BJ songcraft. who's the babe? Gayden started smoking again!!

  • If I'm not mistaken, the Babe is Amanda Moss.
