Not being well versed in superhero lore, the name of Captein Marvel alwys threw me. I thought that he might have something to do with the early days of Marvel Comics.
I remember an old Saturday morning TV show with this character too. Another confusing thing, why are the Capain and Superman fighting? Aren't they both good guys? Does Captain Marvel still retain the mentality of the boy when he changes? If not, how can he instantly become an adult with no past growing experiences or education?
There are two Capitan Marvels One from DC here and one from Marvel. He becomes a new person (Captain Marvel) when he transforms. He and superman's fight in the justice league episode is an homage to their similar fight in the comic miniseries "Kingdom Come" in witch he is mind controlled. In Justice League Lex Luthor is fooling Marvel. He is my favorite hero (because of kingdom come) and is one of the stronger DC heros. Hopefully the upcoming movie "Billy Batson and The Power of Shazam" is good.

I personaly think Joe (from Joe millionaire)should play captain marvel because hes about the same hight and strength plus he has that kid side about him.

When Fawcett Comic lost company because they gave up in a court in 1950's. DC comic believed about copy from Superman.
But in 1960's Marvel comic already new name "Capt. Marvel" comic.
