i loved martinsville and wilksboro but unfortunatly nascar only cares about money now so were forced to watch these 500 mile races at boring tracks only because that's were the market is. i also loved bristol but they fucked that up too.

When steve park won after dale sr. passed away The Rock held a place in my heart. Brain France is an ass. He left the rockingham because it wasn't in the market. SCREW THAT just tear down some billboards and put in more seats. Make the place seat 90,000. It could be done!!!!!!!!

exactly...this track has a huge place in my heart because this is where Johnny Benson got his only win, which unfortunatly i missed...maybe since ARCA's racing there, it might someday climb the ranks

There are two tracks that deseve one date. Dover or Pocano. Either one should only get one date on the schedule.

Or get rid of Dover anyway and give one date back to "The lady in black" and the other to rockingham.

Or get rid of Pocano all together.

IDK how NASCAR would do it.

dover is one of the best races of the year (in my opinion) but i agree with u on one pocono date, how bout 1 Louden race, 1 California race and 1 texas (?)race and make room for more darlington/rockingham

The only reason the i said Dover is because of the pit road situation.(the enterence to pit road)

I like Louden, just needs more banking(porgressive banking)

California i'm up in the air about.

Texas i like, but "The Rock" would be an exciting part of the chase.

@combatking08 No it can't. The demographic is no longer there; it had dried out by 2001; that burst of attendence in 2001 was strictly a one-year spurt, not a sustainable trend. Rockingham had some good racing and some good finishes but in the end it never lived up to the bigger tracks for competitive depth.
