@Glock2218 You grossly underestimate the capability of the police force in America today. What you're saying is assuming that they are all untrained, gun happy, blood thirsty individuals. That simply is not true. This product is a real innovation to the market and should and definitely will be put to some good use!
That shit was tight, I have absolutely no need for one of those but I can see how it'd be useful in like border patrol or customs, especially if they can do that shit as fast as you did, but under pressure. But I understand how it's mostly muscle memory. Nice job man.
@aresarmor lighten up francis. There are gear queers and trunk monkeys in every branch of the DOJ. Its just a saying. Dont use the referrals from the military to sell to civilians for money in your own pocket. So what is the use for this for the everyday civilian.....zero. advertise to your target market. My bet is these will be seen and used by drug cartels way before any US civilian has a need for it.
@Scotiapilot1966 Its interesting that this comment was left today considering that we just got a very interesting email from a "gear queer" who used this.
@LPNeptune you might relate better considering that was sarcasm... if the guy shoots you in the face a gun wouldn't do you any good in the first place cuz you'd be dead, i don't know if you've heard but kinda need to be alive to use a gun (pretty common knowledge, although not common enough since you don't know about it). so instead of being a complete retard and assuming you're automatically gonna get hit in the head you come prepared to a gunfight in the hopes you don't get shot at all.
@ZebualD and it's obvious you've never actually shot a gun, headshots are difficult to score on a moving target (if you aren't moving during a gunfight then you are too dumb to even own a weapon in the first place)
Make it a little bigger and maybe one can deploy SBRs (AKSUs, Micro Uzis, TP9) with stocks folded or a Serbu-sized breacher from some custom Kydex "holsters" or something similar.
Question: The back part seems to stay hanging after you deploy.
How does one re-zip it after you velcro into the deployed plate carrier?
@Lumbarno are you fucking retarded? this is probly one of the best things you can posibly own, practice using it and youll easily be able to use it in a combat situation. Did you not watch the whole video... he does it in like under 2 seconds at the end.
@LPNeptune if he shoots you in the face you'd die regardless, so then what would be the point of wearing pants or even bringing a gun if he's just gonna shoot you in the face? don't ask the "what if?"s, just be prepared.
Yeah without a doubt I wish you guys were in my area. I am guessing you guys all got out of the service and just want to make good equipment. I like the idea you have here as it goes a step ahead of the ballistic backpack. I could see sending my kid to school with this. Minus the weapon attachments of course. I am going to get your sling for my M-4 when I get the money.
Great response video. Great, you guys did what any company should do in case of "bad publicity". It´s a shame that the last video seemed to be edited, but this response is great. Thank you.
The sad part is that people think the first one was fake. Why wouldn't be real. They've had break away plate carriers for hella long. This actually suprises me it took so long to make a rig like this. How dumb people are to think this could be trick editing. It's not even a contraption that is nearly unbelievable.
Great piece of equip. It will be the launch pad for many awesome " concealed carriers" I suppose.
Do you lose the ripcord when deploying? Not so handynice,
maybe make a elastic band or something to give enought space for teh plate to come out but keep your bag to your back, as when you need this system you need to be able to move freely too.
Great idea, good system. would like to see this in combination with the magpull FMG9mm ;)
Being that in an every day situation, you have no advanced warning of a threatening situation, this is a great idea! Id rather dump all my shit and look like a transformer than be dead. It gives you an advantage, hands down. People who are looking for some type of self deploying juggernaut suit should probably stick to their video games. Great job ARES!
I'm curious on the backpack itself. Will you be offering a bigger size DURABLE pack with it? Like some kind of 3 day assault pack? Also possibly with a water blatter? Also can you zip up the backpack once the vest is drawn?
i watched both videos. okay editing this and that aside, people do some research. its that simple. this product is great LOOKING in my opinion. i would like to use it before i say other wise of course. from the looks of it though it is a must have.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
It's still pretty obvious where the cut was in the previous video where it skips a frame from a closed to open backpack, but this was much more convincing. I would remove the first video and add a new 30 second video demonstration.
@DeusExMachinaX There was not a cut in the previous video in that spot. It has to do with the fact that we used an HD camera when we converted it over to a lower frame rate the movement was too fast in that particular spot that it appeared to cut. We are not trying to convince of anything. the product is real and sitting in our shop right now. If you are local I invite you to come and get an in person demo
@aresarmor Hello. Is it possible to have the bag closed while armor deployed? I mean, during training, after opening it I wouldnt like to walk around with an open bag hanging in my back.
Fantastic product, and very nice video. You don't see a lot of innovation these days in certain markets and you guys are kicking ass in that department.
I can't believe that I'm commenting on a Youtube video, but... the last video had an obvious cut between the moment when you pulled the wire tab and when you pulled the armor over your head.
I don't think anyone who sees this video can honestly doubt that your product does what you say it does, but the negative comments on your last one, while perhaps a bit personal, weren't entirely unwarranted.
very sweet. I'm amazed there are enough doubters to even address this. you're not levitating a tank or anything. Seems like it's merely a very clever design.
...and the trolls are silent. Seriously, I would let them keep flapping their gums and digging a deeper and deeper hole and then release a crazy popular product. I pray GOD bless you and yours, AresArmor.

Highly useful for undercover officers, especially if the pack can be made to look old and beat up, or come in a variety of colors.
