does it make a difference if u have the patch and someone who wants to play u doesnt have that patch? it dont make a difference does it?

You can't play online unless you are patched to the latest version. If for some reason you were able to get on you would only be able to play people with the same patch version as you !

kk. so how would u know when or where to get the patch from? does it tell u when there is a new patch avaliable? and where do u download it to on thr comp?? i am shit and knowing stuff like that!!!!!!! please tell me, thx =]

It should let you know if you click the games tab in steam, right click on Empire and click update history, if your not up to date then it will download and install the latest patch.
