The problem with shipping internationally is that there is no shipping insurance. Many people scam companies by buying the product in other countries then claiming they never got it. Happens all the time on ebay. :[

sorry to here about international charges, but it is not Taylor Made Minerals fault or other companies but the country in which you live in. If your country does not allow pigments to be shipped then this is not a US problem. Taylor Made is just requiring you to pay a tracking fee to assure you recieve.

I know it's not their fault, but it's my money and if I decide not to spend it with them it's up to me.

of course it is up to you and your financial situation. Just as I do my best not to buy products from china. Its my choice!! Much of the UK makeup products as well as US comes from China. Until China learns to treat it citizens right and de-communize. I will do my best not to buy chinese products...

i got my taylormade minerals today took a month to arrive but worth the wait :) if you like bright vivid colours check out electriccosmetics . com i ordered some today so cant wait for those :)

OH MY GOD, BECKY! I can't thank you enough. Lovely review, amazing pigments. I totally agree with your point though. I have checked their website and I am not happy about their policies either. What other Mineral make up companies have the same type of shipping costs and policies? How about Fyrinnae, Coastal scents, face front, etc? Thanks so much for this review and for the personal dedication:-)

I'm glad you liked it! I'm not sure which companies have similar shipping terms as I just leave the site once I've read those shipping terms. I don't think Fyrinnae does that but they do take a while to ship. And I didn't see it on Coastal Scents either.

Thanks Becky. I think the whole shipping changes are unfair because US customers could easily have their parcels lost and they will still replace them. I think I try Fyrinnae and Coastal Scents.

What do you use to wet your pigments before you put them on, or do you use anything?

I use Body Shop Vitamin E face mist. I prefer it to using water.
