Amazing melody and synth bass. Definently early 80"s had an antological fusion with eletronic hardware and playabillity among regular instruments. Black music never been the same ever since. Thank you to provide us this lovely 12".
one of those trax that sends chills down your back,it has that ability to push all my buttons, great memories flyer, you know your music mate,of course i WOULD say that, ive got most of your collection anyway, keep it up
CERTAIN TUNES EVOKE EXACT MEMORY OF WHAT YOU WERE DOIN AT THE TIME, WITH THIS TUNE I WAS GOING OUT WITH A GIRL IN TOTTENHAM, CAROLINE WAS HER NAME ( RIGHT LITTLE USER) GREAT DAYS NEVER THE LESS. I WAS JUST A ' LOVE MACHINE' HA HA.
@crouchhill No mine was another one then but she was a user. Boy she was a good ride though! and thats how she got away with it. Love to hold those sexy hips again and pay her back for the way she messed with my mind... you know what I'm saying ; )
@dawn220- The same goes for me. I live on the West Coast, and Billy Griffin was one of the original Miracles that sang w/ Smokey Robinson. They are all born and raised in LA.. So of course when your out in clubs you always hear their music in some form or fashion. It's inevitable! I heard this song 2weeks ago while in West Hollywood.. Immediately it took me back to PHILLY! I love that city lived their for ten years, but born and raised in Jersey.. Donald used to ROCK this!
wow i could listen to your songs all day long fastflyer infact i think i will there are so many that i had forgotten about until now, and the fact i can see the vinyl going round is the icing on the cake, thanks for sharing :)

Reminds me of last year and the Summer '2010 when i discovered this marvelous song. Lazy sunny days and evenings with this song on full blast. It was only last year but fab memories :D
@MrKappakool A bunch of us would do our road trip from NYC to Catacombs to hear David Todd and/or Donald Stone! That place got lots of love from people from NYC and NJ in fact when I hear this song I automatically think of Center City!
@MrKappakool Man those were the good old days, smarts and the swan club would tare this apart . then play " i want to thank you" and " just us" Those days are gone forever but the music will never ever leave us.
I can remember the days of summer in 1982 when Chicago's late great WBMX station played this song consistently, because it was a damn good song. Man, I miss those good times. Great song, and thanks for posting it!
My local Bmore Magic station was playing this song as I was driving in downtown Bmore at night. I was dayum this song is soo appropiate for a Sat night drive in the city. Thanks for posting this song!
i met an old guy who sold me every record in his collection.. BUT this one!! would not let this go no matter how much i offered!! shows u how much of a jam this was!!! :)
Kept good stereo imagary on this transfer, wow I was 12 when i took this into high school to try and get a girl to lisyen and "get the hint", she went on to marry several men with no taste in music:)
i had to literally stop myself from playing this song...lol sad huh? But i love it!!! when i was little i used to play this song and make up my own music video to it....and oh lord if it rained... i was bringing the dramatics lol
@skagirl42 That version also happens to on lp,too. Atfer hearing it on 45,it was so-so but when it came to the lp version of this joint,I fell in love with it.
...(and as FK knows) why does it have to be "sped up" its perfect just the way it is....that was the beauty of the GAY clubs back in the day...the variety and individuality of the songs for the most part weren't the same monotonous 900 beats per minute techno crap like now and the djs knew how to WORK IT ALL NIGHT and well into the AM too>>>
