It all may well be true, but Pantheridae, including tigers (most predators, at any rate) , will never roar when launching on a prey. As opposed to attacking a harasser. Infrasound roar - possibly, not a proper roar.

there is infra sound down on the underground train station, i live in london and if you go down the tube late at night the infra sound makes you feel scared, it triggers the flight or fight mechanism
