As for breaking when going down hill, I would reply you have no concept of how steep these trails are. No brakes equals to much speed, too much speed leads to tree hugging. The trail is now gone RIP Gold. The guy riding the hard tail is 55 year old Eric the Crow on his Norco 250. This movie is now a decade old. Everyrider in this vid is still on a bike and riding harder than in the past!

@Beefstu345 Not really near Whistler-it's basicly North Vancouver area.Immediatly North of Vancouver are 2 communities called West andNorth Vancouver and there are 3 moutains called Cypress, Seymour and Grouse with a lot of land in between where these trails are built. It is a lush temperate rainforest due to mild temperatures and heavy rainfall with lots of steep rocky hills making for some of the most beautiful yet difficult trails in the world.

That trail is "Gold" in the snot/fog. Last info on that trail was it had fallen into disrepair. Very sad that trail had the greatest log ride entrance. So many great stunts on that trail.

Highly elevated structures scare me when they get old.
