We smoked a joint right where he was working got high as shit, and he gave me the glasses I needed. Before I left I asked him how much do you make an year, he said $100,000 an year. I thought if this guy smokes weed makes $100,000 an year than it must be good for you. Ever since then I smoked weed more often than I usually did.

@nemx14 The only pharmaceutical drug i've taken is ibuprophen and cold medications. i don't overdose on it though. the other drugs will fuck up your body over time. it's just a matter of time.

You cannot overdose on it and there is no way for it to kill you directly. As with anything, it should be taken in moderate amounts. It does not harm your body more any more than eating a Big Mac can. I do not condone any chemically synthesized drug, however. Those are the real problems. They will actually harm your body. Natural or nothing man.

@nemx14 I admit that I have eaten Big macs in the past. However that's been at least a year ago. I try to stay away from that crap. I'm cutting down on and eliminating trans fat and saturated fat from my diet.

One of the first "truths" that the press said about pot is that it makes you insane for the rest of your life, after that was disproved, They said that if you smoked pot, you will become addicted to heroin! I've been smoking pot for over 2 years now, I'm not failing school, addicted to any other drugs, or have a criminal record. I'm just a regular, everyday, potsmoker.

Then you'll think; "They lied to me once, so I can only expect them to have lied about all this other stuff too." Yeah, why not see for yourself since you can't trust the authorities. The people you encounter in the process due to the illegal status of marijuana are also more likely to dabble in other criminal activities. This is the real gateway, and your government created it. The high that marijuana gives is vastly different to anything else available for consumption.

The real gateway is curiosity. If you want to experiment, there's nothing stopping you. People always have, and always will use substances to alter their perception of reality and to boost their mental or physical capacity, and for plain hedonism. There's not much we can do about that. We can only choose how much difficulty we add to their life on top of the problems that drugs create for some people. The people who have no problems you never hear from, due to the fear of stigma.

Also, if you have a tendency to ruin your life, it's perfectly possible with OR without harder drugs, or without pot, cigarettes, coffee, candy, anything. It's called responsibility that comes (should come) with your individual freedom to decide for yourself what you ingest. Name any substance and there are people who can and do use it with moderation. Too bad most of it comes from mafia and isn't quality controlled. You can thank the big brother for that, too.

The state could have a monopoly on distribution of drugs that would generate tax income for maintaining the socialist welfare system, take away market share from the mafia and guarantee controlled quality and purity of the drugs. Problem users would more likely seek help when substance abuse doesn't automatically make them criminals, and people who are moderate users would less likely socially isolate themselves from rest of the society. Legal or not, people will always use.

I get shit from family about how bad it is but what is crazy is this. Mine and my siblings' IQ were all tested as young children. Mine was the highest. I actually skipped a grade after test.
