I agree, I'd like to see other AWD's out there really competing, but Subies and Evo's are like bread for rally. It's not like WRC where car manufacturers will design WRC specific cars, in Rally America, they need to be regular selling cars production cars. So other companies should really step it up and make more turbo charged AWD cars that could compete at the Rally America level

There is just not enough support over here, i'm from the U.S. and rally is definitly my favorite type of motorsport but most people over here couldn't give a flying fuck about it and unless u have certain cable TV stations it is near impossible to see any of the WRC races, however I have heard that Travis Pastrana may join WRC sometime soon

A lot fucking harder than Rally. For starters, rally races are in segments. NASCAR events last 3-5 hours without the drivers getting a break. Its much more pyshical than rally. There is no such thing as an overweight NASCAR driver. Even Tony Stewart's fat ass is lean now. The cars get to be way over a hundred degrees with no form of air cooling at all beside a tube connected to a helmet that feeds air from the outside. If you're behind another car, that air is just burning hot anyway.

what hilarious is that you havent read my two previous posts. I dont know much about the physical strains of rally, but I do know that a 7 minute run cannot strain the body more than a 4 hour race, and it takes a lot more skill and concnetration to run a 4 hour race with42 other drivers and pitstops then to barrel through mud and jumps for 7 minutes.

Drivers can lose multiple pounds in sweat in a single race. bumpy tracks poses dangerous conditions. hitting a bump at 70 miles in hour is nothing compared to hitting it at 130+. On top of that they need to keep the car straight through any flaws in the course. No matter what position you are in, u are just about always driving in close quarters with other drivers. Nascars cannot take a hit like these cars n a minor mistake usually means losing the race. and thats just the tip of the ice berg.
