Nice bike. I like the braided fuel line but not the zipties holding it on the carb. I like the radiator guards . I'm confused at the countershaft sprocket cover. ..but it looks clean. I couldn't use it as the mud and grass would bind up in there.. I like the graphics and the bike looks clean with some nice add ons here and there...pegs, gas cap, etc. Thanks for posting. I love my 01 cr 250 too.

nice bike, I would take an 01 over anything newer any day, after 01 the motors turned into shit and dont feel like they have anymore pull than the 889-96 CR125's. The case reed setup and RC valve screwed everything up.

@wabashofutah well i beg to differ because i have one it i can cat walk it in 5th easy.u speak from your asshole.. i put a vforce reed valve, kiethin airstriker..and this is the fastest bike i ever had and i had a 99 cr250 02 rm250. the 02 would put both to shame.have u ever drivin one

@nickswag24 I have ridden an 04 CR250, it handled much better than an 01, but when it came to drag or hill climbs I found it only made full power at really high rpms, similar to a 125. the 01 and prior models pulled hard enough the bring the front wheel up just about everywhere, a sick bike would be the old motor setup on the new generation frames. But i'll take any CR250 over a 4 stroke any day, lighter, faster, easier to work on, and overall funner :D

well dude, i have an 02, and ive rode banshees, rm 250's, kx250's, and this smokes them, well not the banshee, but the rm and kx couldnt keep up. but the only bike in the 250 class i cant outrun is a yz, but with good reason, its lighter and faster.

I have a 00' and was wondering if 02' n newer footpegs will work on the 00'-01', or if to do so you gotta change the mounts to ones off an 02' n newer CR. Where did you get your ZAP foot pegs?

@661cwb The best honda cr250r engine ever was the 96 model.01 is a stout engine,but infact 96 arguably was a stronger,faster engine.If u check up the oem honda parts web site,cost 4 a 96 barrel is more than 00-01:-)

@budubum 2001 was the best year for the two stroker! My dad has one that he's going to give me and it is faster than any bike I have seen. Lol we let a buddy race it, he is a normal 3rd 4th place guy, he got 1st =P

where did you get those red anodized pegs on yer bike, are they ZAP as well. Are they specifif for the 00' & 01' CR or do you possibly know if pegs from the 02' & up CR's fit the 00'-01'? I'd like to pick up a set for my 00'.

@RideForLifeCR250R  Hi. They are 03 cr250 dirtbikes. I had to modify the original suport to put it. But it look nice and with those pegs you are "stuck" to your bike. They are ZAP pegs. I paid 110 euros (70$) to conceed it. Sorry for my bad english wrote :D
