I'm good with the least portal challenges, but the time ones are super frustrating and least steps can be a pain if you land badly. Like if you land on a cube, Chell must end up dancing or some shit cos you take 50 steps a minute just by standing still.

the trick he does is that he bacicly recycles portals by laceing them where they can be more than 1 use

The companion cube section you can get a lot more cameras, at 5:36 when you fall off, turn a bit to the left, there is an opening which you shoot a portal into and the other in a wall so you can get in which has about 4 cameras in it, may make it easier to do than trying to get it perfect with one, although how you did it is still perfectly valid.

on test 17 portal into that room with all the broken cameras and you can use them to hold up the cube

If anyone here is trying to get the Gold Medal Achievements for this game on Orange Box and don't care if they cheat use these:(Enter during gameplay)

Create Box

Cheat code: Down, B, A, B, Y, Down, B, A, B, Y

Fire Energy Ball

Cheat code: Up, Y, Y, X, X, A, A, B, B, Up

Portal Placement Anywhere

Cheat code: Y, A, B, A, B, Y, Y, A, Left, Right

Be sure to Save BEFORE entering the End Capsule.Start a new game, then load your game back up then enter the capsule for credit.

@FeLizPC You can't do this to get the achievement though. They mark you as cheating and revoke any score you had.

Can someone help? it says i cheated everytime even if i did not. I even deleted the CONFIG file so that portal made a new one and deleted all the binds i have, and used SV_cheats 0 and turned commentery off. It still says i cheated!

The achievements tracker only only has /18. So I think you only have to do 1 challenge per map? Haven't started it yet.

there r 6 lvls and they have 3 challanges

3*6=18

3 modes per lvl
