Hate to bust your bubble, But Sinatra had made it BIG way before Frankie Laine or Billy Daniels. I'm one of the bigest Laine Fans but Sinatra was making hit records and making movies in the early forties. Frankie didn't make big til 1947 with "That's My Desire".

Yes, I've heard this before and in Europe that may be true. I've heard Olavi and he has a great voice, but I like to be able to understand what he is singing about.

Amazing song im only 19 but have been brought up on frankie laine and such great artists they deserve so much more opreciation than these modern day singers i dont actuallly think that you can hear any of there true voices everything is so computerised

I just heard Olavi Virta doing this song. Sure he has a great voice but he doesn't

put the feeling into it that Frankie does.

OK may be that's because I can't understand a word that he says. Some have said he's the best singer in the world,

I did what you said and I still prefer the Frankie Laine version. He puts so much feeling into a song, but thats just my opinion.
