I just did the Evrae battle again, and the #1 skill, the most effective, and one that 99% of players have by the time they get to Luca Stadium, is Tidus' Delay Attack. Delay Buster, of course, is just sick. DB each of Tidus' turns, and Evrae may never get an attack again. I went in to the battle with the wrong weapons, the wrong armor, and still just just walked all over Evrae

In order of importance: 1. Heal Petrify status immediately. 2. Al Bhed Potions with Rikku or anyone who has learned Use. 3. Hastega and Haste on the Party. 4. Status effects on Evrae : Blind, Power Break to reduce physical attacks, Mental Break to reduce magic defense, & until it is at 1/3 health, Slow also

There are other tricks too, like Rikku's Mix Overdrive to do Mighty G with Electro Marble + Lunar Curtain, say. If you got stuck at this battle, look at some guides and try again. Good luck

I love the mullet style of her dress, a style that the now fashion world just barely thought of..anyway, this is my favorite scene in the whole game. Very epic and emotional at the same time. In fact, I can't think of a single scene in this game that isn't my favorite. This game is truly wonderful, no wonder why it was so popular when it first came out!
