i don't believe in that "Paul is Dead" shit, but from 1:14 to 1:24 it sounds like "paul" is saying "paul is dead, really really dead" and then at the end "take your shoes off dead man!" like i HONESTLY don't believe that stuff, but i"really really" sounds like it.

this reprise is scary. What is Paul singing exactly and because i know what he is singing, why is he siging that??

mecaesare: I think what Paul was after was to create this 'image' of a band playing for an audience, and since this was their closing number (before 'A Day In the Life'), he wanted to simulate what The Beatles did at the end of their live shows, which was usually Paul belting out 'Long Tall Sally' or 'I'm Down' (both in the same key as this number. Why it got buried in the stereo mix - I don't know, but it's pretty cool. Somewhere I saw the words he was singing, but can't remember where.
