CHICKEN HAWK Isakson served in the Air National Guard during the Vietnam War - just like his buddy George W. Bush. There was no way this "fortunate son" was going to see combat. As of August, 2009, over 4000 American men and women have died in Isakson's and Bush's war... many of them REAL National Guard. WAR WIMP.
Isakson, like many politicians seems like a reasonable person. However, his floor speech from August 1st was laden with mischaracterizations and deceit. It appears that when it comes to the war in Iraq, Isakson believes that any lie that supports the war policy is justified.
