I suppose it was a lot of work to modify it but hey, it doesn't look like a tuned car except for the fact that you added a spoiler. There are no front/rear bumbers tuned, no side skirts, not even new wheels...I wouldn't call that a tuned car by a standard car that was " restyled ".

Hi everyone, I haven't been able to log into this account for nearly 2 years now so I haven't been able to update you. Thank you to everyone who likes the car and the video. This video became popular at my workplace as I gave the link to one of the managers and she spread it around like some kind of viral marketing strategy.

The spoiler is too narrow for the car really, however it does definitely look better in real life, and the car attracted huge attention, especially from boy racers!

@nopoet406 - They'd try to race me, or get me to rev the car up or wheelspin it if I drove past them while they were parked up. I had several offers from people wanting to buy it and I eventually sold it to a chap from Cardiff (IIRC?). He said he was going to take the spoiler off which to be honest I had been considering doing myself. The car had nearly 1000 views on ebay. This car was a legend, not just in my opinion, but for the respect and attention it got in South Yorkshire and I miss it :(

@koolgart - Chrome 2.2 badges on front and later on I put the same on the boot. Also the car had "406" badged on the spoiler blades.

What did you use to darken the taillights? Are they bought or did you paint them yourself?

I've seen other cars with that and it looks a lot better than the Stock or Lexus lights.

I drive a 405 now but im hoping to buy a 406 in the future sometime :D

Nice, sadly a bit unknown this 2.2. I had a green (with baige leathers, Yuck!) "SV" version (yes, it existed) from 2005 untill fall 2007, never got to the "tuning" plans, but it was a great "sleeper" as 320's and all sorts of "TDI's" were humiliated often enough.

Yeah it's quicker in standard form than a 320, and if you make a few mods you will easily be able to keep up with the 325 V6 and cars of similar power.

The Pug's 2.2 engine has massive torque and is quite light compared to the V6 which gives you an advantage when the 2.2 has been remapped and you've fitted decent tyres.

I sold my V6 this year coz it became too expensive for me to spend all year 1000 Euros for minor fixings and the bigger problems were just coming on the way. The next owner won't be as happy as I've been with the car, hehe. But it is an awesome car to drive and I love the design of it.
