Definitely different. Just listened to La Femme before listening to this. I had no idea people thought they had the same bass line, I just bookmarked them both when they played on Pandora :)
The feeling is similar in both songs, and maybe the chord progression is the same, but the notes are definitely different. In fact, I'm not even sure why you thought someone plagarised >_>
if deadbeats are using real musical instruments it's fine, but if it's entirely computer generated, that's a different story, try an early single "Beats for Jeeps",which i base my comment on..
Which puts Deadbeats to shame really, been listening to Air's track recently, looks like you're right. Is this one of those cases when guys are using "copy & paste" technology?
@gintas13 well you can say that's a similar bass line, but it's not the same to me, and when you listen to both songs, they are from the same genre, but different...you want an example of "copy & paste" technology, then compare the original "Under the Bridge" from RHCP and the fake "My Wicked Heart" from Diana Vickers
This is some extremely chill vibes, I totally dig. I'm from yet ANOTHER band called 'the deadbeats' from Hawaii. Check us out if you are so inclined! In any case keep up the dope tunes amigo.
when checkin out more music from deadbeats there is also a lot of rock music?? are there two bands with the same name or how is this. please if someone knows give me a reply. this song however, is great!!
