Shatner and Jason Alexander were in a couple music videos together, they were "Celebrity" and "Online" by Brad Paisly, in the latter Shatner was Alexander's Father and his mother was his mother form Seinfield.

Pretty good imitation--for a parrot.  That was one of Shatner's most masterful speeches and this lukewarm recitation is the best Alexander can do? Why bother?

Dear Jason: You were the only character I liked on Seinfeld. I hardly ever watched that shwo....but when I did, I thought u were the only sane one. Glad to know you're a ST: Classic fan as well! I just saw "Aftermath with William Shatner" for the first time the other day. He does a great job with it, just as he does on Raw Nerve. They really tackle some personal subject matter, yet his guests never seem nervous or reluctant to open up to him. It's like his calm demeanor & charm becomes contagious and envelops the entire set.

He's really good at this.

I've been thinking that "Pretty Woman" would have been a much more interesting movie if Jason Alexander and Richard Gere had exchanged characters, and Julie Roberts and Laura San Giacomo had exchanged characters. Alexander is a fine, overlooked actor and would have brought a real poignancy to the lead role.
