I'm confused by the degrees what do degrees mean? I have a various natal charts (from different websites) and it's the symbol of the planet and 3 numbers with degrees symbol in between like Sun 1" 25" 9" exalt., Moon 3" 51" 39" Dom. What does this mean?

Hi Lada, my ascendent is scorpio(7 degree) and moon sign is gemini(7 degree), I have moon and saturn in the 8th house. and jupiter and rahu in the 3rd house, can you tell me if i will get a job soon.
It is kind of scary that saturn will move into that position around October, as it seems that is a chance that my whole family will move to another country (with me logicly) but we are uncertain of the dates even thought somehow October was around the month i thought we would move. I will have to leave my friends, my work, my house, everything, to start all over again in new lands. I am really exited yet sad. I am a virgo with both sun and moon in virgo. My ascendant is in scorpio 11°59'. What dose this mean? In Virgo horoscope for 2012 you say that the most important is the ascendant. In Virgo's video you showed the 10th and the 4th house as being affected by this year's eclipses. I am Scorpio Rising (26), Virgo Moon (19), Sagittarius Sun (0). I've had very stressful times this year financially, and have fought to keep my home. My brother died during the June 15th eclipse. Now my job is in drama with a Gemini at work. I was wondering if you could tell me what two houses have been affected by the eclipses in both Scorpio, and Sagittarius, if it's not too much trouble. Tx

From your ascedant Scprio-2nd house of own finances and resources has been affected and also 8th house of "death" and other's ppl resources: usually not being able to rely on their help. The eclipse is happening in Sagittrius and the last one was at the degree of your Sun-2 Sag, and the Sun rules career, goals. Eclipses bring worries and sudden changes in these areas...
Hi, I did check videos for my Asc (Libra 19 09' ) and Moon (Leo 14 35') sign first, but they do not apply to me, considering those degrees you stated. Does it mean that I'm not going to feel those influences from Jupiter and Saturn? Or should I just stick to my Sun sign (Sco 14 19') forecast?
the ascendant prognosis will apply to you no matter that I do not mention the exact degree of your Ascendant. It might not be so true if you were born at a very norther location because the projected wheel of the horoscope is not equally spaced as in the the more southern regions, and houses can be different size.

My asc. is Gemini and Jupiter is in the 12th house but for my Scorpio sun, Saturn is in the 12th house. Do they block each other out or should I just pay more attention to the asc?

without the full chart I will be mostly guessing but when Jupiter passes opposite your Ascendant in Feb'12 you will get a much better chance!

Also if your time is not correct within 2-3 mins you can get a wrong sign...
